Guangyuan
Plant 821
32°26'N 105°52'E

In addition to the original plutonium production reactor at Jiuquan [Yumen], the Chinese buildt a second, similar, plutonium reactor and chemical separation plant at Guangyuan [Kuangyuan]. This facility began production in mid-1973, with approximately the same plutonium production capacity as the Yumen reactor of 300-400 Kg per annum. Guangyuan is centered on a 1,000MW light water graphite reactor [LWGR] fueled with natural Uranium. This reactor is the largest plutonium producing reactor in China, with about twice the power level of the reactor at Jiuquan, and is complemented by China’s largest plutonium separation facility.
In the late 1960s as part of the "third line" effort to relocate critical defense infrastructure in the relatively remote interior, China built new [allegedly underground] facilities supplement the plutonium production reactor at Jiuquan [third line plutonium production reactor at Guangyuan ], the design and fabrication facility at Haiyan [third line design and fabrication facility at Mianyang ], and the gaseous diffusion plant at Lanzhou [third line plutonium processing facility at Yibin ].

Dear AC 18328,

Neither do I.

And I just had a horrendous thought ~ what if the Chinese DO have a nuclear meltdown to the core of the Earth ~ and it meets up with the black hole created by CERN?

Last night on Coast to Coast radio, Steve Quayle said that *CERN goes online on June 6th*.

Not a pretty thought. Just hoping for the best and preparing (at least mentally) for the worst. Wasayo

So, if the leak begins in China, what kind of syndrome would it be?

In fact, the location of the antipode of the earthquakes in China is the volcano erupting in Chile. This is interesting in itself. So the answer is Chile syndrome.

China will continue to receive the wrath of Mother Nature until they stop supressing the freedom of Taiwan and Tibet and MOST IMPORTANTLY they must stop killing babies while the babies are trying to survive in their mother's womb.

China reports the highest number of abortions, with 10,394,500 abortions reported in 1987 [3].

In China a pro-abortions stance has been enforced for many years, but it has been masked in the laws of the provinces. The National law instructs doctor's to recommend abortion when ever the baby has a serious hereditary disease, a "serious deformity", or the pregnancy endangers the mothers health [108]. National law also provides for incentives for abortion. As pro-abortion as this is, it is not even close to the provincial laws, where the true aim of the government is obvious.

In provincial law there are many "reasons" set by the province that the state require an abortion. Such "reasons" include "unauthorized pregnancies, failure to obtain birth certificates, or improper timing for a second child. In some provinces you must have an abortion if you are young or unmarried and the state will provide incentives for the poor to have abortions. With such broad laws the provinces are able to require abortions for anyone they choose [116].

If it had, the radiation trace and IR bloom would've probably been picked up by the satellites of at least six differeent countries in addition to the US (Israel, Japan, Russia, France, Brazil, and the UK).

Besides, it's pretty hard to get fissionable material to actually engage in a super-fast chain reaction (detonate).

If it'd been a powerplant, where they actually have uranium fissioning in order to heat the water, the chances of a meltdown would be high, especially if it had been designed stupidly like the ones in Chernobyl, Ukraine.

But again, there'd probably be an infrared bloom and enough radiation released so we'd know about it.

China: An Earthquake in the Wrong Place

May 12, 2008 7:43 PM

Earthquake3_080512_ssh Geologists say Sichuan Province was a surprising place for an earthquake. The one that happened there Monday afternoon (before dawn in the U.S.) was a magnitude 7.9 -- stronger than anything Sichuan had had in 75 years. The U.S. Geological Survey has details HERE.

Sichuan is not far from the natural fault line, marked by the Himalayas, that separates most of Asia from the Indian subcontinent. India is very slowly pushing northward, with often-violent results.

But Sichuan's capital, Chengdu, is on a plain. A 7.9 earthquake there? Only 6 miles deep?

"There's no clear fault line that you can put your finger on in the ground there," said Leonardo Seeber, a senior research scientist at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University.

Sichuan, like much of the rest of China, has enjoyed rapid growth -- which means modern high-rises in the cities, surrounded by primitive huts in the countryside. The skyscrapers, like many modern buildings, are designed to sway in an earthquake; better that they bend than break. Older structures, especially if they were made of stone or brick, were more likely to collapse.

"Flexible structures, reinforced structures," said Geoffrey Abers, a colleague of Seeber's at Lamont-Doherty. "On the other hand there's probably a lot of old construction that pre-dates this code."

Abers told us this may explain why most of the deaths in Sichuan were reported to be in the countryside, much of which is mountainous. In the city of Chengdu, early reports said fewer than a hundred died, though obviously the number could go up.

Dear It is what commies do,

Yeah, what with Chernobyl and now this... but I don't judge communism. No form of government is perfect... and none tell the people the truth, ever.

My bizz is being an astrologer. I've been reading the Chinese bloggers... how they are saying "this is karma". Well, I did an astro chart on the Chinese quake.

I about fell over at the results ~ *it is karma*. Bad karma. The ONLY astro chart I have ever seen to match it is... Israel.

I just have the feeling that this one isn't over. I don't know if there will be more or greater quakes, dams breaking and flooding, nuclear/radiation leaks. I just sense that *this game is not over*.

I even wonder... could it be like Chernobyl? That we are not being told? Is this, even partially, manmade ~ playing with nukes or scalar weaponry gone wrong?

Thanks to you and to everybody on this thread for all your comments. Wasayo

That's pretty astute, Duncan Kunz,

But I expect that of you, lol. (wink)

You are right. Apparently in China people are "cannon fodder" and to lose a million here or there doesn't matter. It just bites when so many are children, in a country where families are permitted to have only one.

I had to laugh at your San Andreas comment, cuz I live about 150 miles from it, hee hee. MILLIONS of people live their daily lives right on top of it... and its still-active branches.

Some day (maybe soon) there is going to be a huge tragedy here in California. Everybody knows it ~ but when you have your life here, it isn't always that easy to just pick up and leave. Same for the Chinese. I dunno if we'll end up "in the drink"... but it isn't gonna be pretty. Wasayo

Ummmm... last I checked there are 1.3 billion people in China. Perhaps you don't care about the quality of life for a child but only whether it lives or dies?

I think instead of people having abortions they should go ahead and have the child and give these children to people like you to take care of.

Or another solution to population problems would be mandatory sterilization... then we wouldn't have to worry about murdering these precious fetuses any more?

Quit thinking about yourself and other peoples selves and start worrying about the human species as a whole because thanks to the number of people on this planet we have put ourselves in the position of causing our own extinction...
