I think we seen that somewhere before. |

Senator Kennedy Rushed to Hospital
By Jeff Zeleny
Updated WASHINGTON – Senator Edward M. Kennedy was rushed to a hospital this morning in Cape Cod, where he was treated for a serious – but unknown – illness.
Mr. Kennedy was transported by helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He appeared to have suffered stroke-like symptoms, a senior Democratic official said, but family members were telling friends this afternoon that they had reason to feel optimistic.
New Update, 1:40 p.m.: Anthony Coley, a spokesman for Mr. Kennedy, released this statement:
“It appears that Senator Kennedy experienced a seizure this morning. He is undergoing a battery of tests at Massachusetts General Hospital to determine the cause of the seizure. Senator Kennedy is resting comfortably, and it is unlikely we will know anything more for the next 48 hours.”
Earlier, Senator Kennedy’s office here released a statement saying: “Senator Kennedy went to Cape Cod Hospital this morning after feeling ill at his home. After discussion with his doctors in Boston, Senator Kennedy was sent to Massachusetts General Hospital for further examination. He is currently under evaluation, and information will be released as it becomes available.”
A senior Democratic official, speaking on the condition of anonymity out of respect for the Kennedy family, said the senator was taken by ambulance to Cape Cod Hospital after he became ill at the Kennedy compound in Hyannisport, Mass.
Mr. Kennedy, 76, an iconic figure in the Democratic Party, had been planning to host a charity fund-raising event in Hyannisport this weekend. A concert was planned on the family’s compound tonight.
The Democratic official said no immediate information was available on the senator’s condition. The Cape Cod Times reported that Mr. Kennedy was taken by an ambulatory helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston around 10:15 a.m.
Mr. Kennedy has served in the United States Senate for more than 45 years. This year, he has become an active player in the Democratic presidential race, endorsing and vigorously campaigning for Senator Barack Obama of Illinois.
Mr. Obama, campaigning on Saturday in Oregon, said he had been in contact with the Kennedy family. He did not go into detail of the extent of the illness, but said: “We are going to be rooting for him. And I insist on being optimistic about how it is going to turn out.”
Word of Mr. Kennedy’s hospitalization quickly spread through the political world in Washington and beyond.
Senator John McCain of Arizona, the presumptive Republican nominee, was the first political figure to release a statement on Mr. Kennedy, a longtime colleague and friend.
“Senator Kennedy’s role in the U.S. Senate cannot be overstated. He is a legendary lawmaker, and I have the highest respect for him,” Mr. McCain said. “When we have worked together, he has been a skillful, fair and generous partner. I consider it a great privilege to call him my friend.”

That'll teach that hypocrite. You would think he would have learned not to cross Bush/Clinton since they offed JFK, RFK, AND JFK Jr. for going against their agenda. He turned on Hillary and now he gets to be the distraction dujour.
Hold on for the ride. |

Amen. He's another globalist icon of yet another pseudo-American royal family.
The real disaster of this 'governing family' trend in our history is it allows the slow completion of their criminal agendas and empires to span their multiple generations.
The Governing Families need to be forever removed from all positions of power. |

thanks for the info. I know I oughta sign up because I am here all the time but I keep resisting the urge. Why???? My path is littered with forums I have frequented, signed up (got on the books, lol) and then I lose interest and never go back. Don't as me why, I don't know, I think it is related to the fact that I keep a great distance from ppl and the quickest way to make me dive for cover is for someone to actually try to get to know me (pm's, emails, looking for me when I don't post, you know the whole friends thing). I'm not stuck up at all don't get me wrong. I think it's my paranoia problems. Does anybody here identify. I am like it irl as well. Maybe down the road I may sign up but I hate to and then not want to show up here. Will somebody in this lunatic asylum try to explain all this to me??????? |
