For example, I get OCD sometimes. I repeat my sentences or get this thought stuck in my head that repeats itself over and over. It's a horrible feeling. Is it demon created? No!
OCD is a disorder linked to depression. I suffer from depression obviously on certain days or days and days resulting in years. Disorders form due to the depressive mental state. So in order for me to over come my sadness I learned to work out. It causes my brain to release endorphins in my brain that reacts to the depression. I become suddenly healthier. happier and my OCD goes away. Like I say...

Weird disorders aren't so weird. They just need to be noticed,observed,and worked on. Once the person is told the truth and accepts they do have something then they can build the tools on fighting such mental states. Blaming it on a demon and getting some witch doctor isn't going to solve that persons problems. Building strength and tools to overcome the problem at hand will be the solution. Understand?

Thank you for understanding. I feel the best thing to do if you realize you have a disorder is just research. Try to go away from far out ideas and just research. There's good therapists I owe a lot to as far as mental health. Discuss those issues with one you trust. If objects go flying across the room, or you suddenly start speaking ancient latin then okay! It's time to confide in a priest but other then that study psycology. It's an exact science that can help!

Tourettes is a neurological disorder. I haven't done any reading on it in a long time, but my guess is that it has something to do with the frontal lobe of the brain, which controls impulsive behavior. That's why it seems wierd.

No I dont have tourettes, I've just been curious about it for a while. Everytime I go on the net I always seem to be drawn to watching videos about tourettes. I think I may have known people who had forms of the disorder but not been diagnosed. I've got to admit I feel for some of the people who have relatives with the disorder and seen how they must suffer also. Some people like those who live with tourettes guy try to see the funny side of his behaviour which I guess in a way helps them deal with their situation to a certain extent, even though they've got problems due to the destructive nature of the disease. cheers.

But in some like childhood ticks which a LOT of children have they usually clear up especially if spotted early and action taken to stop doing them, but if left for over 1 year they can become ingrained and virtually impossible to voluntarily stop, this is not a demon possession.

When I was a High School teacher one kid cursed me out when he was angry. He seemed to be like any other teenager. When I spoke to the counselor about his behavior she said, "Oh we can't discipline him, he has Tourettes." He didn't have outbursts indiscriminately, just when he was angry like any other kid. He had a sweet deal going there so he could get away with outrageous behavior and not have to take responsiblity. I bet he and his buddies had good laughs about it after classes.
