Wow! Worth the time to watch. Thanks!

So the secret session was called by a rep leader who had secret information.

And that congress can vote to release a transcript of their session?

Hmm ... having to sign a "pledge of confidentiality"?

With regards to this coming election, the dems are not the only party entering a dangerous time. The reps are also going over the cliff. Not that I grieve for their demises, just that they will destroy so much in doing so.

Yep, gov of the sheep, by the sheep, for the sheep.

Real joke that is.

Stupid, he should of went, 1st - his congressional responsibility to his constituents. 2nd - He should of went to be informed as to what was so hush hush that they needed to call a 'secret' meeting, so he could then make a better informed decision on what should be done.

He couldn't have told it anyway, if he wanted to keep his job. If he divulged that info and was kicked out, he couldn't do anyone any good.

But, I'd sure like to know if that 'closed door' post was right in the 10 things they talked about.

I wish he would have gone also, but I understand what he was doing. He believes everything the government does should be transparent, because they work for us. He's right, but there are too many tyrants in charge.

He wouldn't have been able to do anything about it. Every time he tries to do something, he gets shut down. Remember his anouncement that he was going to introduce articles of impeachment on Super Tuesday? The next day, he took a step back and said he 'hoped' the judiciary committee would do their part before he needed to do anything. The man was dead-set on trying to impeach and yet....nothing. What makes any of you think he is capable of making any kind of independent judgement that would have any merit in Washington? He simply doesn't have the support there, and that's our fault, as voters and as americans.

There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened.

Kucinich's first oath is to the constitution. Anyone that attempts to get an oath from congressmen not to divulge treasonous conspiracy is a criminal.

Philosophically I and Mr. Kucinich couldn't be more diametrically opposed, but he, like Dr. Paul has been a lone voice of principle in the House for the D side of the aisle.

I commend him for refusing to participate in the charade, and publicly speaking out about the abuse of procedure for unwarranted reasons.
"A patriot must always be ready to defend his country against its government."

"People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of the people."

"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!!!"

“…if you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”

"I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men." - Woodrow Wilson from his death bed regarding his involvement in the passage of the Federal Reserve Act of 1913.

I don't know. He should have gone, said his peace/piece and done what he wanted to with what he heard/saw. What did his constituents want?
Does he know? Did he bother to ask them? Is he a representative?

This is the way the Nazi's controlled people.

When I was in high school our civic's teacher did a week-long experiment where he said there was a "spy" - one of our own classmates - who would be able to "take us out" if we learned who it was before we could tell him.

It was the most unreal week! I got "taken out" as I saw my girlfriend leave the teacher's office and it was she who was the spy.

That's just how this beast that rules the nation works.

When you are fighting for truth and honesty and just about EVERY SINGLE PERSON around you is not then you remain quiet to stay in the game or simply get taken off the 'chessboard' like Sen Wellstone, JFK Jr, or others who have tried to change things.

It's obviously not very secret if everyone knows about it. And Kucinich is committing a federal crime if he is leaking details of a classified event.
