Quoting: Anonymous Coward 361751Juicy fruit also has aspartame. Believe it or not. Just read the label and you will see. This is incredible, how we have to be policemen/women to make sure that we read everything and avoid that POISON!!!! It is EVERYWHERE!!! They say that in small amounts it cannot harm anyone. The problem is that it is in the yogurt, in the cereal, in the drinks, in the gum, in the soda, in the cookies, EVERYWHERE!!!! At that rate of consumption we will all be in BIG trouble and nobody will know why!!!!!! |

toni User ID: 638606 United States 03/19/2009 07:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | you might want to read the label from Big Red again. I emailed the company last year and one poster was right, at that time it was Big Red and one of their bubble gums. But last time I looked Big Red is now containing aspertame. And all the other Wrigley gum already contained it. Try zapp gum at least they are using xilotol which has been used for decades in the older gums like Dentyn, which now contain aspertame also. |

mac005 User ID: 686608 United States 05/24/2009 05:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If Coke can bring back "Coke Classic" because of consumer pressure, shouldn't our protests go to the gum manufacturers instead of each other. I have a stomach condition and I usually chew a piece of gum after a heavy meal to help my digestive tract. (It works) But now, I can't actually won't chew the crap that is out there. I say we write our gum manufactures for "Classic" with real ingredients (not artificial sweeteners) and let us decide which "kind" to buy. But the "classic" sales go through the roof! Just my thought to chew on. ;-) I'm just glad I'm not alone in this. |
