Teen Accused of Killing Sister, Having Sex With Body To Change His Plea

FARGO, N.D. -- A teenager accused of killing his 16-year-old sister in Fargo and then having sex with the body plans to change his plea.

Sergei Carlson, 15, has pleaded not guilty to murder and a deviate sexual act in the death of Whitney Carlson. Court officials say a change of plea hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.

Authorities say Carlson told police he strangled his sister in her bedroom with his hands, then had sexual contact with her.

Cass County State's Attorney Birch Burdick and defense attorney Mark Beauchene were not immediately available for comment.
