If Whineland does not do this then he is a false prophet. A true prophet rejoices when his predictions do not come true because he knows he has done his job and the people changed and the crises was averted. Only a false prophet takes pleasure in his predictions coming true. Many people have psychic abilities and can see what might happen. Perhaps this Whineland guy is psychic. As for me I will make sure his prediction does not come true and while I'm at it I will call for the judgement of all false prophets in the name of Jesus!  |

I suppose it could? definitely, I think, a global planetwide cataclysm of some sort... maybe a pole shift, any one of a number of things... planet x? I don't know anything about that... don't know if it's in the Bible or not... HOWEVER, weinland claims the trumpets are already going off, like I said, if the seals come before the trumpets, he would have to be wrong... there are many, many views on the sequence of events, and no one can completely agree on them... from my view, weinland is wrong, but I have to wait and see along with everyone else -- I don't read the Bible the same way he does is all, and even if I did, I would have a VERY tough time dogmatically stating end times events are going off just the way I see them... I don't claim to be a prophet, and have a real cynical distrust of those who do... so far! |

Look what is CAPITALIZED, the word "event." The Location was given. The date was given. April 17th comes, and an earthquake hits (technically the 18th) with an epicenter in Illinois, the strongest in the region in 40 years (see [link to www.cnn.com] It was felt in parts of Canada. The skeptics rationalize so black and white, like this: Well, it was the 18th in that part of the US when the earthquake hit. No one died. It's just an earthquake, they happen "all the time." Will the skeptics need to be humbled by destructive events that do kill people in the USA? Foolishly, most of you are so quick to cast judgement, the whole time not even realizing this is being done for you. Most of you saw the April 17th thread, it came and went, and you have prematurely concluded Weinland is a false prophet. As Citizen X pointed out, these are not words to just throw around as most of you seem to enjoy doing. Now, a window is upon us that lasts from June 1st to July 16th (45-90 days from April 17th). This method of penalizing false prophets with death assured that only those who had a real message spoke, removing those who were false out of the way and making certain that a would be prophet would be very very careful before speaking. Thus if the USA is still around without a destruction by July 16th - then it is OUR DUTY to go and stone this man. And how else would people know he's a prophet unless he tells them? When people ask, why are you predicting disaster for America, what is he gonna say? Is he gonna hide the fact that God made him a prophet? You think it's arrogant simply because he's so upfront about it. I don't really think that's a point that either validates or invalidates Weinland. His words can do that, and right now his words have predicted destruction for June 1 - July 16. Let us all behold the testing of a potential prophet. |
