There is no such thing as a vampire. Come on guys!

1)Bats carry it

2)It makes those infected with it try to bite others

3)It causes insomnia (up all night)

4)It makes its victims extremely sensitive to light

5)Just as OP stated - it takes time for it to become active - 14-90 days.

6)There was an outbreak of this disease in the 1720's.

7)It is almost universally fatal (only a few have survived)
