My nails are growing abnormally fast!

If you do energy work or are sensitive to it.... this is normal

I must say I wore acrylics for yeaaarrrss. Took them off (nail technican also here).

Started to have x 6 fish oil each day, 1/2 teasp of cayenne pepper in water x3 daily.

Nails are amazingly healthier.

I personally also believe, that joy inside of us heals many things and helps us to grow, nails and all!

Im living my dream now as a writer, never never ever been happier.

People, there's one here or two, need to heed this, throw all the distractions to the wind, to to that country your heart longs to be in, grow that garden you know you can, shelf the unhealthy relationship that's holding you back,
just 'do it', pack up the kids and GOOOOOOO, life's too short to waste it in a miserble state, change jobs, the one your in is causing you ulcers, go apply for your dream - in the long run, happiness NEVER equates to money, and when your in a job your passinate about, the money and success can't fail!!!!!!!!! ps. in other words 'stop letting others hold you back, people are too busy thinking of themselves, what the heck are we always worrying about what others think, we not ever ON THEIR MIND, themselves are!!!!!

I know how you feel. When I was a kid I got addicted to Jello and I ate it every day. I often didn't even wait for it to "Jell" I just drank the hot sweet liquid.

Little did I know that Jello is made out of the hides, bones and hooves of animal. My hair started to grow faster. My finger nails were so hard I never used the pencil sharpener I used my own fingernails! My legs were so hairy people thought I was half goat! It was horrible.

Sad thing is I didn't make the connection till years later after I gave up the nasty habit and the symptoms dissappeared.

OP, I was googling fingernail growth. I found an article that said too much thyroid hormone could make your fingernails grow faster. It also makes you irritable and suffer more from the heat, sweating more.

Since I take thyroid medication, I think I need to talk to the doctor about reducing the amount.

You might want to get your thyroid checked.

thank you, good info, mine have been growing like made also, just mowing the lawn in 70 deg F I am drenched with sweat all through my clothes, hair soaked and have to wipe my face like a windshild wiper.

PS my blond fine hair is turning dark corce and unwanted hair growth if you know what I mean one one side of the body, not equaly. could be my age, at the change but worth checking the thyroid.

What type of vitmain supplements are you taking? Hair and nail growth is very healthy actually.. Are they growing in thicker? I recently changed to a liquid for of vitamins and noticed my hair and nails are growing in twice as fast. same with my friends that are taking it. I have to clip mine nearly twice a week
