Strange Sighting -- Zombie-Like Humanoid Running Around in Southern Alabama

Roughly three hours ago I received an urgent call from a good friend. He said he needed someone to talk to, then he told me that he was the most scared as he'd ever been in his entire life. I was suddenly too damn scared to really want to know but he said that he had to tell someone about it. This is how it went:
Around 11:00 P.M. (Central Time in the States) My friend was dropping off his girlfriend, who lives in the depths of this labyrinth-like sub division in Baldwin County, Alabama - directly South of Interstate 10. So it's obviously dark and as my friend drives he sees something walking up the road. He doesn't find reason to pay any attention to this until more details come into focus. This thing definitely is humanoid and as he drives closer (not minding it very much) he claims to have seen "a very pale skinny guy in a bathrobe" then his girlfriend says that she saw that its mouth had a ring of black and its eyes were shining. At a point they were very close to this thing and he apparently "lunged at the car". My friend sped off towards his girlfriend's house and remained in side. Then he finally gathered up some courage to leave when he decided that he couldn't face it again and called me.
Now I currently wait around for daylight as I reside very near the alleged location of this thing and I want to know if anyone has any insight or similar experiences. |

I failed to mention a few things:
Humanoid thingie has slicked and parted black hair. So this thing could very well be a local Alabamian.
Think it's a good idea to check out the subdivision later today, in daylight? |

Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned the whole Alabama part. Even so, I'm not convinced this is a joke or a prank. When my friend told me that his girlfriend literally thought she was going to die... I dunno... I take my friend seriously. That's all.
A couple of us our going to talk to my friend's girlfriend to see if she has a better description. She's going to write all of what she witnessed down and I'll post her exact words when I get my hands on them. The worst part is that she's stuck right where the thing most likely is at. |

TV says theres been a few breakouts of the sort in Texas in a few small towns.
They are calling them the walking dead.
Says you gotta shoot them in the head. |

What the hell? I think the whole damn world would've heard about that by now. It's sounds like you're beginning to describe the events of Resident Evil. I hope that this doesn't turn into some serious stuff, but then again...

As I said earlier, I've never heard my friend be so serious or scared. I really don't think this is a prank,. but if it is, I'm not in on it and I would let you you know as much if I was.
To answer your first question, well I have no idea. There is every possibility that they spent some large amount of time there doing whatever they wanted. But, like I said, I take my friends seriously and this time more than ever. |

You found my Uncle Cletus!!!
He was with some other family members traveling from Arkansas to Florida.
They stopped for gas in the Florida panhandle and Cletus got pissed when no one would buy him some chewing tobacco. So he kicked the truck and ran off into the brush.
Since Cletus does this quite often, they just let him go. He will find his way back to Arkansas just like dog...he ALWAYS does.
So, be prepared for similar sightings on other areas until he gats back!

There was a guy from Texas who had his own supernatural/ufo club who posted at GLP a few months back. It was one of those "I have a friend" stories, too. His friend was driving a back road...you know the story already. Very creative writing. |
