Hey this is a great subject, thanks for sharing.
I went to fixedearth.com and started reading.
Those time-lapsed pictures show stars circling the earth.
If a satellite is geostationary and earth is spinning at 1,040 mph at the surface, the satellite would have to be moving faster than 1,040 to keep up.
Like a bicycle tire travels a greater distance than the hub per revolution.
So what is the distance to these satellites?
