I wonder what kind of toxins or radiation caused the deformities. Amazing story no matter what.

I saw a special on her a couple of months ago on TLC or The Discovery channel.

Absolutely heartbreaking how she was born and amazing how she has made it this far.

I think they said for her to look some what normal she'll be needing regular surgeries well into her 20's.

This is amazing and yet heartwrenching! For now, the girl is lavished with love and affection. What happens when she goes to school, reach into her puberty state and forward - is something to think about. She would need the best plastic surgeons in the world plus investment of confidence building environment around her. It is not an easy path.

The parents are wonderful people but they will never be there for her forever.

i saw that tlc program as well and i almost threw up. today she looks like a beauty queen compared to what she loked like when she was born. they had nothing to work with when they started to fix her face believe me

When you are born with Treacher-Collins there is no bone structure below thr bridge of he nose. No jaw, no cheek bones, etc. They have to build them. Although that girl had some major surgeries, it is little compared to what Julianna has had to face. I have never witnessed a father's love as profound as Julianna's dad has for her. They arean exceptional family may God continue to bless them all with support. She brings an example for humanity. She is however, VERY SPOILED!!! But, why not?

Oh yeah, "god" SURE blessed them.....

We live in a crazy, messed up, broken, and imperfect humanity, sad really.. this kid has got to be one tough character though... just to put up with the judgemental people. Kicking people when they are down, as far as I can tell you are the ugly people that need to have done to you what you said should be done to this innocent little girl.
