There has been 3 earthquakes 5.0 or higher east of the states towards the middle of the alantic ocean. Upper, middle and lower, seems like the plates are moving and if so it should put some pressure on the New madrid fault line. So something could happen......
Take a look on the USGS map and you will see what i am talking about.

I can no longer see them because overcast skies have moved in. We do have some storms due later tonight. Maybe these are due to the storms. |

No worries. Those clouds are just extra oily chemtrails. Very common before a storm front. |

Don;t sweat it man. We get those clouds here all the time here in Philly when they are chem spraying us.
The Chemtrails have aluminum oxide and Barium in them and that is why they are lighting up like that. Also, the difference between your rainbow clouds and China's is that yours are actually clouds. China's rainbow "northern lights style" event had no clouds whatsoever. Just the strange color pattern... |

well I'm in St Louis I just went outside and didnt see anything abnormal.
It is really sunny though. There are some thin clouds but nothing abnormal.
Two military jets just flew overhead flying northeast though

I thought it was interesting too because two jets just took off from here. We usually only have c17s so the sound is always noticable when one of these guys takes off.

I have watched the skies for several years and have never seen this type of cloud before. If they are not related to earthquakes then we need to find out what is causing this. I may be wrong but I can't seem to find any images of clouds like these before 2006. What the hell has changed in the last couple of years? |

Sorry, I'm not the OP. As I said, these pictures are from Cleveland, last week. OP's pics are today near West Virginia. Maybe latitude has something to do with it. |

OP, anyone, weren't the rainbow clouds seen in China before the earthquake several hundred kms from the epicenter?
Maybe the "impending quake" will not happen exactly where you are, OP? |

See that's the thing, I live south of Dayton, and I see these clouds all the time...at least once a week. Sometimes it's just a small little irredescent cloud, other times it's more than one scattered about. Very odd, but nothing major has happened here yet.
