It called cauliflower ear...lot of wrestlers get it...but ya Kimbo had me worried too...he did ok when he was on the ground...but when Thompson had him on the ground with his head against the cage he couldn't do anything...Kimbo's still the man

Well I don't think Kimbos hits helped that ear any. Kimbo is in alot better shape than he use to be, but I kept thinking he was gonna tire out and lose. They both fought hard though, good fight.

The fighters were stood up on a couple of occasions when Thompson had clear side control and was continuing to work on Kimbo, and the stoppage at the end didn't seem warranted at all.

I also can't understand why this fight was made the main event. Does Kimbo really deserve that with his very short record of 2 MMA victories? I know that his Youtube videos have gone viral, but that doesn't make sense to me.

You'd think for the main event that you'd have two finely honed athletes that could at least fight effectively through 3 rounds.

Instead you have an MMA wannabe and an MMA almost has been (2 consecutive 1st round knockouts in his last two fights), but both fighters seemed exhausted after 1 round.

It was just so sad.

I thought Kimbo's weakness showed - absolutely no ground game when fighting on his back against an accomplished grappler. Now the heavies know how to game him. I remember in his fight against Tank, Tank just walked right into those fucking semis stuck on the end of Kimbo's arms.

There were a couple great undercard fights... though I thought Scott Smith got jobbed. He should have been given the full five to get the rest of Robbie's finger out of his eye.
