What makes me weird? I was socially ostracized in the 2nd grade (I grossed the class out at lunch and it was never the same after that). So I never made the social connection that others make. Every time I tried to trust someone I was betrayed. I had to fight bullies every single day.
As I got older tinnitus appeared and it has gotten so much worse since then. A constant loud 9,000hz tone. It never quiets, never goes away for an instant.
I am also losing my hearing. My favorite thing is music. Ain't that some kind of kick in the head? My dad died when I was a teenager. Got married at 18 and divorced at 22. The marriage was one filled with emotional abuse that turned me celibate for nearly 15 years. I had two toddlers to raise alone. Didn't date and didn't get the internet until 1996.
So I went a little insane and weird. It's how I cope. Kids love it. Adults think I am still adolescent. I decorate my walls with old cd's and anything shiny I find in parking lots or on the road.

I guess my insane fear of crowds and people. I've only been to about 3 concerts my entire life because of this, twice cause a chick dragged me there and once for Slayer. I mean, it was Slayer for fucks sake! Anyway, I also use Juicy Fruit gum as some kind of mental crutch. I am constantly taking small bites of a piece and hiding the rest in various places(usually that small change pocket in my jeans), it drives my wife crazy. Oh and if I don't have my gum and I am in a stressful situation, I can sometimes puke...weird, huh? I also sometimes puke if I get really excited or am anticipating something for and extended period.

I was a highly abused child, physically and mentally, burned with clothes irons and such as an infant, finally thrown out at fourteen amidst death threats from my stepfather and step brother.

What really angers me is seeing parents that have children that don't want them. Parents that seem to feel that pushing their own child down is a means to elevating themselves instead of trying to help the child to be the best she or he can possibly be.
If you don't want the child don't have it. And if you already have it then give it away. There is enough love in the world, if it isn't in you then do not deny your own child.
Our neighbors just moved last week, horrible people that treat their beautiful little girl like that. I think my criticism of that fact was their main reason for moving. Now they can psychologically abuse the child without criticism. The worst part is the child doesn't even understand that her parent's treatment of her is not normal.
There is a DSS worker on the ase but I doubt the person's competence, the step mother had her own child taken away but the case worker allows the step child to remain?
Imo that's fucked. |

ok, what makes me weird:
1. never wanted to have kids, never will, and when seated at a restaurant near them, ask for another table.
2. tip 20% unless the service is just super bad horrible.
3. will not take my louis vuitton to a restaurant. all the food disasters waiting to happen.
4. scream when the cat brings in a mouse, lizard, or bird, but manage to rescue them all before she kills them.
5. hate a dirty house, but haven't been able to bring myself to clean this ginormous gorgeous but dirty crystal chandelier in the study.
6. eat peanut butter and jelly on saltines for dinner.
7. AVOID MILK and MEAT. They are the devil.
8. I tried to eat a kernel of dry cat food once. It was salty.
9. I mini vac my bed after the dog has been on it. I hate Milkbone crumbs. In fact, I mini vac EVERYTHING.
10. I only park facing east in the parking garage at work. I drive and drive until I can do it.
11. No shoes allowed in the house.
12. All my shoes are facing the same direction.
13. All jewelry is individually wrapped in box or dense plastic baggie.
14. Like all David Lynch movies
15. If someone's dog poops in my yard, I pick it up and fling it across the street to the other neighbors house cuz their car alarm always goes off at 5am.
16. I don't answer my cell phone because I don't want to.
I think I'm more mad and aanl than weird. |
