not sure it would be as effective at bringing Manchester to a standstill like having 200,000 drunken Rangers fans.

HAHAHAHHAA ! The next step should be , worldwide, backing up traffic in front of every oil company office and plant, so the employees can't get in.

Personally, I think we should start with the speculators, TX.

They could stop driving all the trucks, cars, motorbikes, vans etc etc, but we can do sweet FA against the speculators. Bring the oil speculators out from their plush penthouses in New York, London,Berlin,Paris.... and put the fear of God into them. Thats the only way.

Re: MANCHESTER FUEL PROTESTS (UK)
i would have expected Frank McAvennie's solution to the fuel crisis to involve shagging the wives and girlfriends of the oil speculators.

Another form of protest could be to target senior politicians like Gordon Brown and Alistair Darling, blockade their constituencies or disrupt the travel of their constituents. Gordon Brown is MP for Kirkcaldy, i'm guessing a lot of his supporters work in Edinburgh, so you could blockade the Forth Road Bridge and disrupt all the traffic going into Edinburgh.

Re: MANCHESTER FUEL PROTESTS (UK)
just been watching the news here in the UK, and there are fuel protests going on WORLDWIDE!

Spain, France and Portugal are being badly affected, as are some Asian countries as well.

it has begun.

I'm surprised there's not a pinned thread about it on here actually.

It's only gonna get worse, a LOT worse.
