How many of us use four cell phones all at the same time, all aimed at our heads? I'm willing to concede that there may be some problem with radiation, but this is ridiculous. You can take almost anything, misuse it, and do damage to yourself.
And, I wonder what we're not seeing as added impetus to cause the popcorn to pop. Quoting: MartyWrites

This must be a gullibility test. I put some dry kernels in a microwave, on high. None of them popped, even after a minute. Microwave popcorn is packaged in special bags that have a metal liner that heats up to pop the corn. Without that, they tend to burn but never pop.

I used to carry mine using the belt clip (10 years), but I'd clip it to the right pocket of my pants. I now have a lypoma the size of a grapefruit on that hip that I'm about to have removed. That's what they say it is without tests. Coincidence?

you know what? all last year I was carrying my cell phone in my shirt pocket or jacket pocket - left side.
I had a mammogram in december and they spotted some "calcium deposits" on the left boob. Absolutely nothing on the right. They said the deposits weren't clustered close enough to cause them to biopsy, but they scheduled me for a 6 mos follow-up to see if there was a change (as in, got worse).
At the time, I did not tell them about the cell phone, but the day I left the office where they did a re-test and showed me the super blow-up view, I TOTALLY quit carrying the phone in my left shirt pocket. I moved it to the right or back pocket of my jeans/shorts.
I went for my follow-up last week and there WAS NO CHANGE in the deposits! Which tells me that there's a good chance the deposits showed up because of the cell phone and once I quit carrying it near my left boob, the action ceased.
I've been thinking about getting a case for it, but I haven't looked into whether there'd be any benefit to that.
If I carry it in my back pocket, is that still too close to the reproductive organs? I ain't never hear of no one gettin' BUTT cancer! |

I'm horrified at the number of fools who fall for this kind of stuff - and it's no surprise that most of them are North American. Too many folks in the USA think they live in a democracy (you don't); that they're cleverer than the rest of the world (you're not - your standards of education are almost 3rd world for all but the wealthiest people); and that you live in a modern country (Not even close! The so-called "Old Europe" that you laugh at is at least a decade ahead of you in science, style, culture, cars, environmental practices, architecture and progressive thinking. Just because they have a few castles and some quaint, ancient cities, doesn't mean they live in a feudal past!)
Anyway, that was fun, but I'm off target. Back to the point at hand:
Mobile phones can't put that level of power out. Not even industrial microwave ovens can pop a kernel that quickly. USE YOUR HEADS! Start to THINK for once in your slavish, gullible lives. We pity you!  |

I have a cell phone because they took all the pay phones out. I keep it turned off 90% of the time and it takes over 2 weeks for the battery to need recharging. I hate them. |

As in, like, they were recieving a signal, not transmitting.
And in that case, you would not need a cell phone to pop your corn or fry yer brain, because them signals are all over the place.
