ps I live in Fairbanks AK, used to live on the Kenai Peninsula just south of Anchorage and the Anchorage resident is right that there used to be at least a very deep dusk in the middle of even midsummer nights. Haven't been down that way for many years so I don't know about now. Here summer is definitely and always has been light all night (don't see stars from mid-May to early August), but the skies do seem more luminous, like something in the high atmosphere is scattering the light rays and we are getting more over-the-horizon 'backscatter'. . . this is especially noticeable in the wintertime. . .
Hard to tell if the sun is rising and setting where it 'should' as it changes almost daily anyway ! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 448232
Check the "India Face" graphic on this page
[link to www.zetatalk.com]
for an explanation. As part of the Figure 8 wobble the Earth has endured since early 2004, the N Pole tips slightly toward the Sun when high noon is over India. That would be your NIGHT in Alaska. More sunlight over the horizon for you.
Zetas RIGHT Again! And all the people who helped establish what the Figure 8 wobble was doing by taking exacting measurements of where the Sun rose and set. That's the way to do it folks. Make sure you have a N/S E/W reference point, like checking a survey or a street laid out exactly on this grid. Compass is too erratic, don't use. Get the date, time, location, aximute (360 around the horizon) and altitude and then check with a program like Skymap. THIS is how you nail this argument down, with the shrills and people too frightened to contemplate an Earth wobble. They will deny no matter what.
And the Solstice is no proof either. These special "days" have been assisted to look "real" so those who cannot handle the reality of what is coming don't go insane. And so the establishment itself does not panic and begin mowing people down in the street.

ZetaTalk: The Insecure

Beyond the professional debunker, whose full or part time job is to haunt message boards or web sites in search of people discussing what the establishment wants to deny at present, there are those so in the grip of fear and insecurity that they attack the message for no other reason. The message is, in short, unthinkable. Life, for humans on Earth, is highly insecure in the best of times. Even with the best that modern medicine can provide, most illness is not curable and palliative measure only provided. Lightning can strike anytime, any place, and neither prayers or bribes make a difference. Meteors and fireballs from the sky are erratic, and despite man’s best efforts at prediction earthquakes strike without warning, dropping buildings and bridges. Then there are all the reassurances from employers and governments and insurers that pension funds, savings, home ownership and assets, all are solidly there and will be replaced should any event remove them. Yet employers go bankrupt, governments go bankrupt and change their rules or default on their promises, and insurance companies default. Loyalty from friends and family also cannot be relied upon solidly, as the divorce rate and domestic violence statistics show. Friends are supportive only while this friendship aligns with their life circumstances, and the friendship dropped when it becomes inconvenient. Thus, despite man’s best efforts to make himself secure, he is, in essence, standing naked in the cold rain, alone.
Enter Planet X and the ZetaTalk message that the world will turn upside down, experience earthquakes that will shatter cities everywhere, roll flood tides inland for hundreds of miles along coastlines everywhere, explode industrial complexes into a cesspool of chemical pollution, destroy the communication and transportation networks so that travel is on foot or impossible, remove the convenience of electricity and clean water supplied to the home and replace this with long dark nights and drinking water smelling like the neighbors sewage, suddenly stop the delivery of food stuffs to the local store with no replacement so that rats and weeds and rotting corpses become the only food available. For many, especially those in cities or whose lifestyle by choice or necessity has made them soft and dependent, this is what the message means. Unthinkable. There are no options that come readily to mind, for these individuals.
* If they are by nature strong and resourceful, they think about the steps to be taken in the event, and plot a plan, as there is always some plan that can be formulated. They may realize that the outcome, for themselves, is death, and become resigned and live their last days in the most meaningful manner possible.
* If they are by nature weak, clingy, and demanding, another turn is taken. They watch the viability of their pension funds and savings melt away as the USD drops and corporations go belly up. They see the weather erratic, the ferocity of storms on the rise, and watch movies like the Day After Tomorrow with fists in a ball, white knuckles. They would make shrill demands of someone, but God is not listening and the government certainly is not listening. Now what?
If a weak individual cannot succeed by demanding or clinging, there is only one option available for comfort - denial. They need not worry because it is not happening, all is normal. The weather is normal if one assumes massive climate cycles that stretch millions of years, at least this is what the TV is reporting. No one knows what causes these cycles, and any life threatening extreme is extrapolated out thousands of years hence, so no need to worry. The government propaganda is that the economy is on the rebound, jobs being created, and a firm hand at the helm. All evidence to the contrary is simply not absorbed, and if pushed to be acknowledged, is denounced in a shrill voice and slamming doors. These individuals entertain denial, in an increasingly shrill and angry manner, as the threats to their secure world increase. What does one do when they are being threatened? They consider themselves under attack, and respond accordingly. This proceeds along these lines, more rigid denial, more vicious attacks against the message, until the day reality breaks through and it can no longer be denied that something is amiss. At this point the denial changes to red faced demands for these weak individuals, hopping up and down and loudly demanding that someone reinstate their security and take care of them. If you have an individual in your neighborhood like this, move, before the pole shift. They won’t change. First they ignore you,

These phantoms had launched a campaign to force Nature magazine to retract a paper it had published, alleging that native corn in Mexico had been contaminated with GM pollen. But this, it now seems, is just one of hundreds of critical interventions with which PR companies hired by big business have secretly guided the biotech debate over the past few years.
While I was writing the last piece, Bivings sent me an email fiercely denying that it had anything to do with the fake correspondents "Mary Murphy" and "Andura Smetacek", who started the smear campaign against the Nature paper. Last week I checked the email's technical properties. They contained the identity tag "bw6.bivwood.com". The message came from the same computer terminal that "Mary Murphy" has used. New research coordinated by the campaigner Jonathan Matthews appears to have unmasked the fake persuaders: "Mary Murphy" is being posted by a Bivings web designer, writing from both the office and his home computer in Hyattsville, Maryland; while "Andura Smetacek" appears to be the company's chief internet marketer. Not long ago, the website slashdot.com organised a competition for hackers: if they could successfully break into a particular server, they got to keep it. Several experienced hackers tested their skills. One of them was one using a computer identified as bw6.bivwood.com.
Though someone in the Bivings office appears to possess hacking skills, there is no evidence that Bivings has ever made use of them. But other biotech lobbyists do appear to have launched hacker attacks. Just before the paper in Nature was publicly challenged, the server hosting the accounts used by its authors was disabled by a particularly effective attack which crippled their capacity to fight back. The culprit has yet to be identified. Bivings is the secret author of several of the websites and bogus citizens' movements which have been coordinating campaigns against environmentalists.
<
>Bivings is just one of several public relations agencies secretly building a parallel world on the web. Another US company, Berman & Co, runs a fake public interest site called ActivistCash.com, which seeks to persuade the foundations giving money to campaigners to desist. Berman also runs the "Centre for Consumer Freedom", which looks like a citizens' group but lobbies against smoking bans, alcohol restrictions and health warnings on behalf of tobacco, drinks and fast food companies. The marketing firm Nichols Dezenhall set up a site called StopEcoViolence, another "citizens' initiative", demonising activists. In March, Nichols Dezenhall linked up with Prakash's collaborator, the Competitive Enterprise Institute, to sponsor a conference for journalists and corporate executives on "eco-extremism".
What is fascinating about these websites, fake groups and phantom citizens is that they have either smelted or honed all the key weapons currently used by the world's biotech enthusiasts: the conflation of activists with terrorists, the attempts to undermine hostile research, the ever more nuanced claims that those who resist GM crops are anti-science and opposed to the interests of the poor. The hatred directed at activists over the past few years is, in other words, nothing of the kind. We have been confronted, in truth, by the crafted response of an industry without emotional attachment.

>30 PR firms are jumping on the online bandwagon,<
Of course there are always the thousands of zealots who volunteer their time and effort:
>GOP Team Leader Recruits Nearly 2,000
New Activists in First 2 Weeks<
>April 8, 2002 - WASHINGTON, DC - The Republican National Committee, with the technological expertise of The Bivings Group, has launched a new Internet program<
GOP Going 'Amway' to Spread Agenda
"The GOP has launched an Internet-based campaign that includes a points-for-products system to spread its agenda throughout the country."
"The Web site -- www.gopteamleader.com -- features interactive pages with links to radio and television stations, and partisan talking points that users can personalize and e-mail directly to Democrats in Washington and in their state."
"The site also features a data-sharing "Got Info?" page where "leaders share intelligence with the GOP, acting as our 'eyes-and-ears' on the ground."

Why not? It's bullshit. The sun is exactly where it should be, as proven on the Solstice. |

Did you not see the other thread about doing the measurements?
The OP of that post gave directions on how to do the measurements did you do them?
It seems you are the sort that any amount of "PROOF" is going to be convincing unless you see it yourself. So did you do the test?
Why would someone need to prove to you everything is alright why don't you convince us it's not!
The last I saw on the other thread was 2-1 everything is normal. The one decenter would not reply as to how and when the measurements were made |

"WHEN THE SUN FIRST SLIDES above the horizon I see the alignment, as if the spoke were a narrow cobbled pathway leading into the crescent of light. Then the glare becomes far too intense to continue close scrutiny, and as the sun lifts, already inscribing its arc toward the southeast before it’s fully cleared the ridge, the spokes of the wheel stand out in exaggerated relief. The visitors—about twenty of us—look at one another, some smiling."
Conversely, with dozens of ancient monuments around the world, each with their own Solstice celebrations, can you find ONE single article that says that the sun DIDN'T rise in the right place? |
