I always had to have either room darkening shades, or heavy duty blinds on that window, because in the late afternoon, from about 4 to 6, typically when I would be making dinner, the sunlight was so strong, it was blinding in that area and I had to pull the shades or blinds down. I have noticed in the past year or so, that I never, repeat, never have to pull the shades down over that window. I still cook dinner at the same time, there is nothing blocking the window from outside, but the sun at that time of day is now in the northeast corner of my house. I am very aware of it because I have two corner windows in the same kitchen and now the light is coming in those two windows. Also, in the morning, my east facing windows are not all bright, because the sun is further north (that would be the back of my house, not the side). Think what you want, but this has been very noticeable. |

Sorry. But, they really don't convince me other than the wording says to me "fear mongering". Every 3600 years, which as I understand it is the approx solar cycle of this planetX, there hasn't been a human die-off of mass proportions within every one of those cycles. So... there may or may not be something to these pictures, but I still am not convinced in the slightest of it's existence. But, thanks for the pics! They were interesting! Well, as I said, people can judge the info for themselves, and yes, of course it is a hypothesis. I will say, though, that something with a 3,600 year elliptical orbit would necessarily take some time to pass by and head back, so I don't consider the changes to be minute really. For a comparison, it takes Pluto 248 years to complete one orbit around the sun. |

Darza User ID: 378572 Netherlands 06/15/2008 03:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I live in a new house since last december so have no reference points to measure the sunrise and sunset against, compare it to last years data. I am looking for a link which tells me the compass direction of the sun and moon, to do my own research. I did not find it by googling. |
Geogal User ID: 373387 United States 06/15/2008 03:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hi Darza Sorry it took so long to respond. family descended upon me yesterday and just left. I searched honestly for "Braden geologist" and anything pertaining to him being a geologist and his work. Couldn't find his license, but I did find an interview which said many things about him discussing "polar reversal" (but was titled polar shift) that I know to not be true. Additionally, one of the first things that did pop up on the search sorely disappointed me in anything he does write and claims as "geology". Here's an excerpt and the rest of the article is [link to www.energygrid.com] "Recently, however, it has been pointed out to me that Braden was never a scientist: he was actually a software engineer who had worked in the scientific arena. This does not make him an "earth science expert" as he claims, or indeed a "scientist" at all. In fact, judging by his use of pseudo-science and bad science to justify his position (we are NOT talking about leading-edge or bone fide alternative scientific theory or research here) he shows himself to be scientifically illiterate (or deliberately misleading the public which I will discount). Discovering that Braden was no scientist was a relief to me because it meant that I could accept his sincerity, which I do. After all, if he was a bone fide scientist then one could only conclude that he was deliberately misleading people for whatever reason because the mistakes and contrivances are so appalling." He also wrote a few new age belief books including "the god code" where he discusses "HIS" research and findings of DNA to have evidence and proof of god. Now, had he said a "friends research" that he cooborated in writing a book with or recent finding by Dr. XXX I would have put more interest in searching out more on him. But, a geologist does NOT do cutting edge research into DNA... it would have to be a specialized research scientist who was doing DNA research for dinos or some such. Those are few and rare. I dual specialize, so I know the amount of effort and work that goes into just keeping up with cutting edge, much less being a researcher. I'm sorry to say, but I wouldn't trust much of what he's said. if you wish to, that's your choice. If you'd like to read a little of interest on what REAL geomagnetic polar reversals are... [link to en.wikipedia.org] you'll find they don't match much of what Braden claims. One thing he's right on, but I'm guessing he doesn't know why, is that in some areas of the planet the field is different, weaker, stronger, a bit "unusual". [link to www.spiritofmaat.com] As far as your measurements for the sun and moon "wobble", well, I can't see them, don't know how you took your measurements, or anything of your experiment. I'm glad you've found something that does fit for you, and Kudos for making your own observations and making up your own mind. For me, I'm still looking at a big picture, trying to figure matches and put stuff together... maybe I'll figure out what works for me, maybe I won't... Hi Geogal, Quoting: DarzaI researched the word poleshift starting in 2000, so i do not remember were i got all the info, i remember the first one who talked of evidence of a 90 degree poleshift was Gregg Braden, a former geologist by profession, he has some vids on the Google, i remember beyond 2000, not sure. I remember from the magnetic particles in rock they can establish the N-pole, i am nor sure but i think it said Hawai has been a former N-pole, so a 90 degree physical changes of the axis. I also remember it happened at least 5 times already. What caused these flips i do not know, i was not there at the time. But not being able to figure out what caused them does not mean they did not happen nor that it could happen anytime soon. From measuring the sun and the moon i see the earth must be wobbling, i do not know what is causing it, just theories. In this theory of mine i can connect the wobbling to geological records, for me it all fits. |
Geogal User ID: 373387 United States 06/15/2008 03:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | How would you say this properly? Would it be that the precessional wobble has increased in amplitude whereas the period remains the same? Wouldn't it be strange if a pole shift meant the earth actually flipped? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 104455Strange and VERY VERY deadly... there'd be no place to hide, for anything. Everything on the planet would die. Sorry, but that's the trust about the kinds of forces, speeds and energies we're talking about. IF a polar reversal happened where it acted as the popularized polar shift... nothing would be left living... I'm not ever sure the planet wold be habitable in the future. |
Geogal User ID: 373387 United States 06/15/2008 03:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | LOL! Sorry. I guess what I wrote was misunderstood... I meant the pictures themselves had the same appearances with minute changes to each picture. Yes, I do agree that something with that long of an orbital period would take some time to pass by the sun in our area. Well, as I said, people can judge the info for themselves, and yes, of course it is a hypothesis. I will say, though, that something with a 3,600 year elliptical orbit would necessarily take some time to pass by and head back, so I don't consider the changes to be minute really. Ritchy User ID: 364775 Netherlands 06/15/2008 05:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's because of the light of the Galactic Centre that's coming from behind our sun towards us. That's maybe also why it looks like the sun is coming up more to the north and we have shorter nights, but it's probably really because of the light from de GC behind the light of the sun. Mexican User ID: 450655 Mexico 06/15/2008 09:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wait, Oh my god! THis morning, when the Sun came up, it came up really fast! THEN, even freakier, once it fully cleared the horizon a bit, it SLOWED DOWN! At noon, it was barely moving! THEN, it gets even weirder! As it approached the horizon at sunset, it started to SPEED UP AGAIN! I made scientific measurements, so I am POSITIVE that something FREAKY is happening. I tied a string to an empty beer bottle, then suspended my crack pipe from it. As the sun crossed the sky, I marked off the shadow of the pipe on the side of the bottle every time I took a hit! This is ABSOLUTE PROOF! Only thing is, I can't imagine why the whole ocean didn't just slosh over the side like a kiddy pool being yanked behind a pickup truck. (Did that oncet to my little cousin. That was funny. Now she's my wife) But I'm telling you, SOMETHING IS DEFINITELY WRONG WITH THE SUN. Tomorrow I will make the same measurements, and then I will KNOW. I think it's Planet X! Or the pole shift! And the government is covering the whole thing up! What the fuck? AND I know what I'm talking about, cause I have a 157 IQ. And I'm NOT INSANE. |
