How much body fat do you have? That's the key.

It stores in your body fat. Drink all the water you can, take B vitamins and an aspirin every day, try to sweat a lot. If you're in good shape and not a chronic smoker, you'll probably be okay.

3 weeks is what I've heard. If your worried drink lots of water and take some goldenseal root. In emergency situations there are kits online or you can do what my wife did which was order clean urine online. We still have some left over in the fridge in case she ever needs it again. :)

Thanks, my weight is 197 lbs, and i'm 6 foot 1, so i don't believe i have to much fat, i got a new job i'm gonna be starting, but first i need to get drug tested and they do a backround check, so drinking water is good, well i do not smoke cigarettes, and last time i smoked weed, i just took about 3 good puffs, and time before that was a month prior or so, so only 1 day out of the last month and a half, i smoked, and it was about 3 puffs. so you say i should be good?

18 days since last smoke, you should be fine. Overweight and not a into regular exercise you may have to wait another 7 days. Some people with high body fat have to wait 6 weeks.

People that exercise all the time and smoke habitually can have it out the system within 12 days. Big advantage.

Cranberry juice does nothing, liklewise with water and all the $$$gimmicks from pot magazines.

If you are worried, go get yourself tested before the offical test. Same lab test will be used, cost is cheap. If you fail, you will get to read the levels over 50mg?.

You should be fine come test day, but if you are 'big', you may be on the cusp.

Cannaboids/THC compounds bind to fat cells. THEY are NOT water soluable. Drinking water only dilutes the urine and does nothing to "flush" it out your system. It's the body ability to cycle and burn the fat cells ( which store the thc compounds ) which go back into the bloodstream and into your urine for the body to piss out.

Again, water does nothing.

That's the best thing you can do. However, abstinence can be hard if pot makes life seem pleasurable.

As far as hair tests, my brother had one a few month ago, and they plucked one of his arm hairs, so shaving your head is pointles!

Cranberry juice DOES work 100%. You have to buy the real, 100%, cranberry juice though, from a health store, not the 'juice' with sugar and crap in it. It tastes awful, but I smoked all day every day for years and had three days before my drug test. I drank 1/2 a bottle mixed with water a day for the first two days, and then downed a full bottle the morning of my test. You have to pee within like 45 minutes of drinking it though..

OK, here's the skinny from someone who actually wrote that training module for POs. When it comes to pot:

1. If you don't smoke much (1 x week) don't worry unless your test is within a week of smoking. See #2

2. Dilution is the best method: drink a lot of water starting four hours before the test. If you come up diluted, they will reschedule. So do not smoke between test 1 and test 2.

3. Hair tests are good for three months, but you must hit a certain level of usage before it will show up. See #1 (for pot anyway)

4. They can take hair from ANY part of your body. So shaving your head is going to make you look as stupid as Brittany Spears. If you shave your entire body, well...

5. Do not waste your time or $ buying stuff. See #2

6. The above is based on urine tests. If they do an oral swab you are probably good after 48 hours.

Most substances pass within 48 hours. Pot stays in, but if you are an infrequent smoker do not worry. A chronic should give it at least 3-4 weeks of non-smoking before you worry less.

It took me 18 days, I'm overweight, smoke more than anyone with a vaporizer which is 3x more potent that dubes, and i didn't flush or anything. took a test at a rehab and hospital, passed both.

You are DEFINITELY clean enough. Only have to be less than 200 micrograms.

I smoked every single day every 2 hours for 10 years, stopped cold for 18 days and passed with no flushing, no water dillusion, nothing. Just stopped for 18 days.

The thing to do to ease your mind is go to the local rehab and take their urine screen. It cost me $45 but it was more than worth the peace of mind.

the thing you don't want to do is go in an pee dirty so go take the rehab test first, it is IDENTICAL to the work screening.
