Am I not making sense? We've got to get past this point where TV personality deaths are seen as a cause of mourning when 1M Iraqis die in a war that could have and should have been prevented with some simple honest and timely reporting. Your news anchors crown kings and take down businesses so if you see rampant corruption and if you see the theft of your liberties don't blame the crooks in gubbermint, they're doing what gubbermint always does. Blame the press. Iraq was a failure of the Press. 911 was a failure of the Press. When we storm the palace, we're going to have to storm the newsrooms as well or nothing will change.

I never thought of Tim Russert as a good reporter or journalist.
I don't think anyone on TV is a Journalist, Mouth pieces yes
but journalist no. They act their parts thats all.
I didn't wish him dead or anyone for that matter.
He just wasn't someone I knew or watched. watched to him a couple of times and that was enough. |

He was taught by an old-time journalist to always take the opposite side of whomever he was interviewing.

Being in my mid-fifthies myself the thought of his sudden death at work got my attention.
He just put his father in a nursing home and returned from the overseas trip from europe.
The DVT caused from flying could have been what happened.
All I can say is RIP.
Give the credit for what he did. Born blue collar. He set goals for himself. Maybe he bit off more than he could chew. He worked his way high up in the pecking order of the PTB. Controlling what the office of information wanted reveiled.
In the end. I guess we reap what we sow. |

Remember the night of the May 8th Indiana/West Virgina Primaries. As the results came in.
It was Tim Russert of NBC. The ONLY Journalist to declare that Obama "Obama has sown up the Democratic Nomination and is the Next President of the United States." That Statement shocked the nation that week and ran in the headlines. No other journalist had the guts.
Russett pulled a Walter Concrite (when he declared on CBS News after the Vietnam Tet Offensive that United States had lost the Vietnam War) which in effect sealed the fate of the US in Vietnam..
The PTB's injected Tim Russert.. in my humble opinion.. When he declared Obama the winner long long before Hillary was ready to conseed! His death is 'revenge' of the PTB's for destroying their gal Hillary's chances.
