Ok oh, not wanting to be an alarmist, just was visiting the site to check out on the earthquake situation and was a little 'surprised' to see all the yellow marked events on the map, most of them being volcano's.
The other weird thing is where the Japan quake happened, there is now an indicator of a Nuclear event? Can anyone confirm or not is anything to be concerned about.

That map is always like that, most of those volcanoes are minor eruptions. As for the nuclear event, apparently the earthwuake caused radioactive water to leak from one of the power plants but they say it is nothing major and nothing to worry about |

Yes the quake did strike by 2 nuclear plants,maybe iran will have a quake by there nuclear plant soon. [link to www.iris.edu] |

Not to often you hear of radioactive water leaking from a Nuclear Plant. Aren't those sites designed to handle earthquakes? It must have been fairly large to cause this kind of damage. |

It's OK but you might want to read the New Testement part of the bible and see what Jesus said about this time. He said that when these things come to pass then our "redemption draweth nigh" and that the "kingdom of God is nigh at hand" ... which is a good thing.

average there are about 35 with the "E" (erupting) to the right of the volcano name. last I'd counted, there are about 38 considered erupting, a little above average. |
