They really have done a number on Gen Z. My husband's employer recently hired three young guys. One is a hard worker who wants to learn. The other two slack off and one of them was two hours late every day. My husband gave encouraging words and took the time to teach the kid who worked hard. He finally had enough of the kid who continued to show up two hours late. He gave him an ass chewing and told him to it was time to grow up and be a man.

The kid must have went to the owners and whined. He was sent to another job the next day.I guess my husband wasn't the only one who got on this kid.

They had a meeting this morning and the owners told the guys they can't yell at them because kids today are different. It's so sad. They have to coddle these kids and they will never grow up to be strong men.
