Report abusive post | OMG, my mother is a horticultural scientist and this is what she just said:
| Quote |
I was talking to her on the phone, after reading a thread here about changes in the sun, climate or the earth or what ever...were affecting gardens, vegetable gardens and flower gardens, and she told me "oh yes, there are tremendous changes in the earth now, I don't know what has happened. But for the last two years the plants, flowers and vegetable plants have changed, we cannot seem to grow anything. We cannot grow tomatoes, the leaves are turning up and plants that she plants every year for the last 50 years, suddenly within the last two years, she would plant it, love and care for it, and baby it, and in the morning she wakes up and it's dead.
Nothing there, no bugs, nothing to show what killed the plants.
Then she said this, that is very disturbing. She said "they are doing this on purpose, making it impossible to grow your own gardens, so that we are helpless."
I couldn't believe she was telling me this. I called her, because, who else would know better about these matters, than my mother? She loves her gardens. She creates a virtual garden of eden, and is a wonder when it comes to growing things. And she is a horticultural scientist, so who would know better than her, the truth that something is happening?
So, I called her. I did not like what she had to say.
This made me think of all the conspiracy theories that are widespread now...about the powers that be, orchestrating things so that we cannot survive, those who wish to depopulate the planet. I don't want to think this.
But when my mom tells me, "just live every day to the fullest, thankful that you were able to live another day, to breathe the air, and to be alive."
And when she said that, my stomach dropped.
If my mother says there is something terrible going on, on this planet, believe it. Because she has been studying the earth, nature, plants, and flowers and she says they are dying, that they aren't even able to grow them anymore, within the last two years....believe her.
I'm sorry to be the bringer of bad news. |

My brother has a large garden filled with every vegetable you can imagine. We're having to give alot of it away because it's too much for one family.
Not that I don't believe what you're mother is saying, just not seeing it here in these parts. |

I mean veggies, flowers, blueberries, everything imaginable. There are huge corn fields all around us.
The folks have 18 acres here and no problems with any of the neighbors gardens either. They are beautiful. |

Yes, no, and no.
The earth is always changing. If it wasn't, it, and we would be dead. That's a fact.
But your fear mongering and bullshit assertions about things not growing don't hold much water when you say,
"My mom toldme "

I'm tellin' ya....she is a fully credentialed scientist, and if she says something is going wrong with our crops, she would know probably before most people, because she's been studying how things grow for many years.

The roses I planted years ago and love are doing wonderful! Full of flowers, new shoots, lush, green, big bushes.
Tomatoes, I planted 3 varieties... 1 is doing great, the other 2 are slow... but I think they were later season tomatoes. Potatoes, great. rosemary and fushia having to cut back huge amounts and toss sit. Lemon wonderful! 2 fruit trees, young but fruiting.
no changes, really, in 5 years of living in my house. |

even the bacteria in the soil is being depleted by spraying overhead-it is one that is critical for plants to grow
The wheat fungus(rust) and weather conditions shifting dramatically
The GMO/GE contaminating native plants like all the Maize in mexico is GMO now
The pollinators are dying out
fungus is attacking them, the wheat and the Moose
then they can push their GMO and the people will beg them for it
the ones growing anything are ones who know how but they are even noticing it
I grow apples, blueberries, flowers, tomatoes, beans, etc-but one must know what they are doing and they are still struggling-compared to yrs ago
multiple problems and those who do not notice it will by this time next yr I am sure. *************************************

"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."
