I live on an island in the tropical country, certain fruit trees over the years have gotten an island wide fungus and have not fruited for years, our beloved orange tree this year just withered up and died, while next to a lemon tree and tangerine tree thrived.....
I always imagined that WTSHTF that I could live off the land like a bird eating from tree to tree.........
I had not anticipated that the fruit trees would slowly die off, but sadly this is happening for no apparent reason . |

Despite all your other response here in So.Cali.we have noticed pretty much everything you r mother shared and i would confirm it is the overhad spraying that is causing the famine type problems andmany different things are infecting the plants.
But despite the bad conditions we usually see a few crops but something is definitely up with the plants. Here is what I have noticed just this season:
1. squash plants look small, growing slower even after feeding them.
2. Grape vine did not get grapes
3. lemons look larger but very deformed
4. strawberry's were okay but the day we got the 105' temps they literally burnt from the sun even though they are shaded.
5.all the pepper plants look smaller and same as squash
6. Herbs look somewhat good
7. other plants doing okay but smaller growth noticed this year overall
8. Tomato (Celebrity) has only six tomatoes looks normal so far but did notice leave curl last year and as soon as the sun came out in Summer all died from the extremely hot weather experienced. Other plants just growing slower no fruit yet.
9. But we did get Apples this year but will wait & see
10. Guave bush got flowers no fruit yet
11. tangelos did not produce last year but do see a few trying to grow and all leaves on citus trees been curling since last year and white film on leaves. Feed regular!!
Basically, what I notice is things grow fine till a warm sunny day. The sun seems hotter than normal and for the past two years I have noticed the sun setting in the NE verses NW towards the Ocean. The sun is also coming up more SW than SE and it is quite noticeable. I am also noticing a shadow over the earth even with no clouds in the sky. At first i thought it was my eyes but somethingis really happening and it's not me because other have noticed. The skies are heavy being sprayed before sunrise then to about 7:00am and for the last three weeks HAARP with strange clouds extreemly high up with weird patterns and almost a rainbow in the midst. Happened today as well!!
Everything is dead or dying!! Water goes on the ground but the soil even after a deep soaking is dry an hour later. The only lawns staying nice are those with lots of money to run the water everyday 2x's.
Was up on the back side of Big Bear MT. and all the trees are dying such as never before in all my life and it is really sad to witness and I am sorry it is not just a Bark beetle.
Despite other areas where people can grow good victory gardens are hat is off to you and you had better be canning and planning for some dark days ahead while you have the grace to do so.
Blessings, Sunshine |

Nobel Prize Winner Dr Alexis Carel 1912, warned that since the soil is the basis for all human life, our only hope for a healthy world rests on re-establishing the harmony in the soil.
And that was before the fertilisers and GM pollution.
People on this thread have talked about their wonderful growth how many mentioned giving mother earrth a rest? When do we allow the soil to rest, recuperate and regenerate?
Humans take so much for granted.
Genetic modification - GM
Genetic engineering is imprecise and unpredictable. But most testing is carried out by the very biotech companies that have the most to gain from results that say GM food is safe.
Growing GM crops also threatens wildlife and the production of GM free foods. What's more some GM crops could allow more pesticides to be used.
The irony is that we don't need GM food. The biotech industry says it will feed the world's poor - but leading third world charities - like Christian Aid - dismiss their claims.

 | | Re: OMG, my mother is a horticultural scientist and this is what she just said: | Quote | The Vision of The Tree of Life Dying......
22nd October 2004
Pure intent is imperative so be careful what you wish for. The mind can create the most amazing things, but it is the soul that has our best interests at heart. The soul works through the heart of feeling, which is very different to emotion. The sea of emotion can be calm or stormy, but the soul moves like a tree, sensing and feeling its surroundings. Just being a tree. it grows and prospers, with the energy of the universe a true sentient being.
Receiving the energy of the sun and refreshment from the rain, roots growing firm and strong. The tree is clearly the way to be at one with Brahman
When I was inspired to write the above, I saw the tree blossoming and full of fruit. The leaves were so green and healthy, and the tree looked so happy. I was explaining the difference from living in one’s head compared with living in tune with one’s soul.
Early this morning I was shown a vision of the tree and the reality is, that the tree is sad and dying. Its fruits have been plundered and its leaves stripped bare. I asked why I was being shown the vision of this tree, and I was told that this is the state of humanity and mother earth.
In raping Mother Earth of all of her natural resources, we have raped her soul and our own. We have raped each other's souls including the children. So, due to this transgression of the natural laws of the universe, both the soul of Mother Earth and its people are dying.
Earth activists are losing hope; frogs that have lived on mother earth for 200 million years, those that survived every earth change during that time, are dying mysteriously and Human souls are leaving the planet in large numbers due to their lost hope.
There is no separation between us and Mother Earth, we are one in Universal Natural Law. So, now there is only one thing that we can hope for, that we take this vision very seriously indeed and unite together against the forces of destruction, the forces that oppose the very soul of humanity, before it is too late. Love heals the world but it is compassionate action that changes it. GOD's children, hand in hand, side by side in the front line, helping and supporting each other can make these changes.
If this is achieved then Spring can come and there will be a rebirth and regeneration of all things. The choice is yours but there is little time left to make the shift. Unconditional love does not mean that you allow someone to trample all over your soul, otherwise there is nothing left but feeling bereft. The soul is yours and not to be laid at anyone else's feet, so that they can trample upon it. The branches are breaking on the tree of life, due to the loss of the soul of humanity. This loss of soul is due to its own selfishness, living in denial of the truth and the evidence of our own experience.
It is time to live in integrity, stand up and be counted. Take action now beloved ones there is no time to lose.
Zealous compassionate action is essential for our survival. It is time to take responsibility for what mankind has co-created. Step not into fear, but allow GOD’s will-to-good, to be compelled by love into compassionate action. Let it flow through your hearts to the soul of humanity and Mother Earth. She needs you and so do you, can you rise to the challenge and save the tree?
Lotus "Blessed is the one that comes in the name of the LORD."
"I honor the place in you in which the entire Universe dwells, I honor the place in you which is of Love, of Integrity, of Wisdom and of Peace. When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, we are One."

It's El nino Quoting: Anonymous Coward 346985
Actually, it's 'LA NINA' (cooling) which has greatly diminished but responsible for this past wicked cool winter, as well as intense tornaoes, and drought in other places. This La Nina combined with the Pacific Decadal Oscillation (PDO) Shift to it's Cool Phase (every 25-30 years), plus a very quiet Sun brings us "Global Cooling".

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 405334 6/16/2008 8:09 AM | | Re: OMG, my mother is a horticultural scientist and this is what she just said: | Quote |
I was talking to her on the phone, after reading a thread here about changes in the sun, climate or the earth or what ever...were affecting gardens, vegetable gardens and flower gardens, and she told me "oh yes, there are tremendous changes in the earth now, I don't know what has happened. But for the last two years the plants, flowers and vegetable plants have changed, we cannot seem to grow anything. We cannot grow tomatoes, the leaves are turning up and plants that she plants every year for the last 50 years, suddenly within the last two years, she would plant it, love and care for it, and baby it, and in the morning she wakes up and it's dead.
Nothing there, no bugs, nothing to show what killed the plants.
Then she said this, that is very disturbing. She said "they are doing this on purpose, making it impossible to grow your own gardens, so that we are helpless."
I couldn't believe she was telling me this. I called her, because, who else would know better about these matters, than my mother? She loves her gardens. She creates a virtual garden of eden, and is a wonder when it comes to growing things. And she is a horticultural scientist, so who would know better than her, the truth that something is happening?
So, I called her. I did not like what she had to say.
This made me think of all the conspiracy theories that are widespread now...about the powers that be, orchestrating things so that we cannot survive, those who wish to depopulate the planet. I don't want to think this.
But when my mom tells me, "just live every day to the fullest, thankful that you were able to live another day, to breathe the air, and to be alive."
And when she said that, my stomach dropped.
If my mother says there is something terrible going on, on this planet, believe it. Because she has been studying the earth, nature, plants, and flowers and she says they are dying, that they aren't even able to grow them anymore, within the last two years....believe her.
I'm sorry to be the bringer of bad news. Quoting: Nuclear Genie
The problem your mom is experiencing is that she has been trying to plan genetically modified seed. Sometimes they grow plants but not often. To plant a crop of it they have to use an excessive amount of seeds to get the crop they are trying to harvest.
The worse part is this, if she did manage to grow a plant the seeds it produces are sterile. And the flowers of these GM plants kill honey bee hives off pretty quickly.
Keep this in mind when you think about the powers that were or TPTW. They are the enemy of Yah or God to you Germanic believers. Gett is the Germanic word for God.
It is not a good place to find ones self. It really means that all you do is futile and vain and that one day it'll be time for paybacks.
Your mother needs some natural seeds to plant like she used to and guess what? Getting almost imposilbe to find now. They've just about been bread out of existance. |
