I don't know how this all works in the US, but I just heard an American guest on GB News saying that in Iowa only Republicans could vote, but in some primaries Democrats can vote for who stands.

Is that right? Surely not, they'll all vote for anyone but Trump.

I know some states have open primaries where registered independents are allowed to vote. My state doesn’t permit that. I think what we are seeing in New Hampshire is Democrats temporarily changing party registration just to vote in the primary. I did that in my state to vote for Trump in the 2016 primary. I switched back to independent because I didn’t want my employer looking up my registration (they suffer from TDS).

The exit polls from last night’s NH primary revealed that 70% of Haley’s votes were not cast by registered Republicans. In a truly Republican primary, she was crushed last night…just like she is going to get crushed going forward.
