Anybody here live in Oakland or SF?

There may some commercial property bargains in SF. Because of rent control etc I would avoid residential. SF isn’t as bad as they say it is. Yes there are areas where a lot of homeless people have setup camp, but those are isolated. It is a big city, there is alway going to be some issues. I would not bet at get a world class city, that has a prime location, because that is a bet you will always lose in the long term. commercial estate price are low, it may be time to bargain hunt. Oakland has issues, but has a lot of nice neighborhoods, it’s not going anywhere either. Once the local governments get more serious about crime,these two cities will come back big.
