It's been dropping steadily.

Currently down 60-70 points. Up & down @ 11,385.

If it drops 200-400 points, then yeah.. screwed.

But my stocks are doing good (mostly mining). Up around 10%.

Answer to "how did I come up with that conclusion". Well, very simple, while I'm not EAT, I did call him and EAT told me this was going to happen. Seriously, I see no new good news possible and feel that the majority of stocks are going to suffer when Billions are pulled out by average joe watching their portfolio continue to slide in the negative for the year. This market has been held up artificially for to long now, and I feel it is time for the big slide this afternoon. I guess we will have to see. Plus, EAT said so.

London closed up, Asia wasn't as bad last night as everyone thought. Statistically this year the big DOW sell offs have happened on Thursday's.

You are correct about the average joe. I'm not sure it'll happen today, but it will.

I moved mine in March of 07 to a stable fund. I just had a feeling, but many coworkers are now beginning to do this as well.

I've seen many talking about riding it back up then selling. However this isn't happening.

OK, seriously, if this market rebounds this afternoon it is due to manipulation. This is the worst financial mess this country has been in...ever.
