I love the intellectual quality of the arguments here. We have assertion and insult, with no attempt at offering any sort of proof to back up a position. Please restore my faith in the cleverness of humankind and rather than offering unenlightening insult, or spouting what has been read elsewhere, or offered as an opinion by some other person, please present some sort of rational evidence to support your position to help me make up my mind about the truth.

So far in this thread I have read unsubstantiated rumor and insult and nothing substantive except possibly some assertions by masons about their public works, that can be verified by public records.

So without further ado, please someone tell me the truth in a manner that I can verify it.
