I actually used to get shine from a guy who made it with pride.
He aged it in burned out barrels for 30 days to give it a little smokey taste and a weak tea color.
Shine is mostly un-aged whiskey straight from the still.
I have a 5 gallon wood barrel of shine I paid $80 for. I'm letting it sit...12 years so far.
I've been tasting it a bit here and there but I'm waiting for it to turn into proper whiskey.

You can get hold of 200 Proof Ethanol, but probably not off the shelf, Maybe Ebay?, You could distill alcohol yourself to about 190 Proof, but im not going to tell you how to do that, because if you blow yourself up, id feel bad, also its probably highly illegal in your country or state.

If your that desperate to get wasted, ask a chemist to get you some 190+ proof Ethanol.

Or buy some Everclear if you can get hold of it.
