I looked it up...Big Sur is about 200km south of bohemian grove...Moloch will be safe.

they probably fire-smart it...clear out the undergrowth and all...its expensive but effective. Other forests with dead standing trees and lots of brush underneath are powederkegs ready to go.

The state requires assistance, including from the military, after lightning sparked the blazes, which have been exacerbated by high temperatures and dry grass and brush, Schwarzenegger wrote in a letter sent to Republican President George W. Bush today.

``With more lightning storms forecast for later this week, we sit at a critical tipping point in California that requires immediate federal help and aggressive pre-positioning of federal resources,'' wrote Schwarzenegger, also a Republican. ``I respectfully request federal active duty forces.''

White House spokesman Scott Stanzel said federal officials are working with California to help battle the blazes and are reviewing Schwarzenegger's request.

Yea, too bad that all 800 (or however many there are/were) fires weren't at the grove. I guess that means that Cali won't get that mega quake after all that was to send it into the ocean. You know. The one that was supposed to happen because of gay marriage.

Personally I would prefer quite a few flame thrower back-pack equiped folks pay a visit to the Bohemian Grove member's houses and torch them instead. That area is amazing, to think of a forest fire raging 300+ feet high ruining that incredibly beautiful environment is a sin almost. Trees never did anything to me, and if there was a threat of fire (or even annoying mild smoke) none of the NWO's would be there anyway. Don't be a tree hater just because some of the scummiest humans who have ever lived, have had meetings around them from time to time. Would be nice/fun to go there "in the off season" and dismantle/destroy/remove everything man made on the property, turning it back over to nature.

Places like (most of) the Grove are becoming more and more rare all the time, pure giant sized untouched unspoiled forests that seem almost pre-historic.

Actually, forest fires make for a very healthy forest. Our prevention of them simply causes the fires in the future to become more intense due to the amount of undergrowth, and subsequently kills the trees instead of merely charring them. With the evergreens like doug fir, hemlock etc, the cones need to be exposed to 1500 deg F temps for about 15 secs which causes the seeds to fall out and new trees to grow. Let it burn. Bohemian grove and its elimination would simply be a fringe benefit for humanity

Ive heard that the party has started at the grove, so I assume that if fires did get too close they'd have the national guard, and maybe even the secret service working to protect the place.
