The sun has reached a milestone not seen for nearly 100 years: an entire month has passed without a single visible sunspot being noted.
The event is significant as many climatologists now believe solar magnetic activity – which determines the number of sunspots -- is an influencing factor for climate on earth.
According to data from Mount Wilson Observatory, UCLA, more than an entire month has passed without a spot. The last time such an event occurred was June of 1913. Sunspot data has been collected since 1749.
When the sun is active, it's not uncommon to see sunspot numbers of 100 or more in a single month. Every 11 years, activity slows, and numbers briefly drop to near-zero. Normally sunspots return very quickly, as a new cycle begins.
But this year -- which corresponds to the start of Solar Cycle 24 -- has been extraordinarily long and quiet, with the first seven months averaging a sunspot number of only 3. August followed with none at all. The astonishing rapid drop of the past year has defied predictions, and caught nearly all astronomers by surprise.
In 2005, a pair of astronomers from the National Solar Observatory (NSO) in Tucson attempted to publish a paper in the journal Science. The pair looked at minute spectroscopic and magnetic changes in the sun. By extrapolating forward, they reached the startling result that, within 10 years, sunspots would vanish entirely. At the time, the sun was very active. Most of their peers laughed at what they considered an unsubstantiated conclusion.
The journal ultimately rejected the paper as being too controversial.
The paper's lead author, William Livingston, tells DailyTech that, while the refusal may have been justified at the time, recent data fits his theory well. He says he will be "secretly pleased" if his predictions come to pass.
But will the rest of us? In the past 1000 years, three previous such events -- the Dalton, Maunder, and Spörer Minimums, have all led to rapid cooling. One was large enough to be called a "mini ice age". For a society dependent on agriculture, cold is more damaging than heat. The growing season shortens, yields drop, and the occurrence of crop-destroying frosts increases.
Meteorologist Anthony Watts, who runs a climate data auditing site, tells DailyTech the sunspot numbers are another indication the "sun's dynamo" is idling. According to Watts, the effect of sunspots on TSI (total solar irradiance) is negligible, but the reduction in the solar magnetosphere affects cloud formation here on Earth, which in turn modulates climate.
This theory was originally proposed by physicist Henrik Svensmark, who has published a number of scientific papers on the subject. Last year Svensmark's "SKY" experiment claimed to have proven that galactic cosmic rays -- which the sun's magnetic field partially shields the Earth from -- increase the formation of molecular clusters that promote cloud growth. Svensmark, who recently published a book on the theory, says the relationship is a larger factor in climate change than greenhouse gases.
Solar physicist Ilya Usoskin of the University of Oulu, Finland, tells DailyTech the correlation between cosmic rays and terrestrial cloud cover is more complex than "more rays equals more clouds". Usoskin, who notes the sun has been more active since 1940 than at any point in the past 11 centuries, says the effects are most important at certain latitudes and altitudes which control climate. He says the relationship needs more study before we can understand it fully.
Other researchers have proposed solar effects on other terrestrial processes besides cloud formation. The sunspot cycle has strong effects on irradiance in certain wavelengths such as the far ultraviolet, which affects ozone production. Natural production of isotopes such as C-14 is also tied to solar activity. The overall effects on climate are still poorly understood.
What is incontrovertible, though, is that ice ages have occurred before. And no scientist, even the most skeptical, is prepared to say it won't happen again.
Article Update, Sep 1 2008. After this story was published, the NOAA reversed their previous decision on a tiny speck seen Aug 21, which gives their version of the August data a half-point. Other observation centers such as Mount Wilson Observatory are still reporting a spotless month. So depending on which center you believe, August was a record for either a full century, or only 50 years. |

The stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind.
The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

Based on the below,,
i was God's witness throughout his 7 years of judgment which commenced at 0747 on Monday the 7th of December 1992. The masons who controlled the Justice system during these 7 years were all luciferians and ALL CORRUPT to the core.
My prophesy for Elijah commenced on the 3rd of December, 2000.
Once God sent his 7 Spirits on the 27th of November 2001, which Jesus displayed before me and caused me to write about on the 3rd of December 2001, "this put me into sackcloth" that post commenced my three and one half years of prophesy. i did 4 and 1/2 years of prophesy all up.
My understanding at this time is that the seven Angels will arrive exactly 7 years after the 7 Spirits which means they will arrive on the 27th of November 2008.
After God had finished his judgment Jesus gave powers to the two witnesses and God commanded us to unleash. Both witnesses refused this command. This is when we signed our death warrants and is the reason God permits us to be slain.
However, this has given you 8 and 1/2 years to date that you would not have had. If i had to make the same decision again, i would do exactly the same thing.
We spent two years on our knees, begging, praying and pleading for you. At the nine year mark, God sent his 7 Spirits..
Now wrap your mind around this.
God commences his Judgment In December, 1992. God sends his seven Spirits in November, 2001
9 years.
God finished his Judgment in December 1999 and in my opinion will send his 7 Angels in November 2008.
9 years..
If you are with God, you would know that Jesus has already opened the sixth Seal. If you read Revelation 6 to 11, you will know that Jesus opens the 7th Seal 14 days prior to the arrival of the 7 Angels.
So between now and the 13th of November, this is going to happen,,

Note that two major meteor showers will be in view of the Earth during August.

Below is my testimony, which Jesus caused me to write on the 3rd of December, 2001, six days after Jesus displayed before me God's seven Spirits on the 27th of November 2001, 14 days prior to Jesus opening the first Seal on the 11th of December, 2001.

And i saw
Three strange clouds floated towards me from the East in train formation. Two spaces, equal to half the length of each cloud, separated the ( iceberg shaped ) clouds. They were snow white at the top and black as sin on the bottom. The top of each cloud was flat. The three clouds became stationary, maintaining their distance from each other. A white hollow half circle , outline maybe ten meters thick, rose from the top of the first cloud. IT then formed what appeared to be a sky blue stage as it neatly sat with the bottoms of the hollow half circle sitting on top of the snow white flat top of the leading cloud. Ten seconds later, in the center of the stage, a female face appeared. The face appeared made of stone. It had dept and perfect clarity. This face remained in the half circle for twenty seconds. Her face then dissolved and ten seconds later a male stone face appeared on the stage. His face had depth and absolute clarity as he displayed himself for twenty seconds. He then vaporized and ten seconds later, in exactly the same position a teenage female stone face appeared.

She lasted 20 seconds and then vaporized. Ten seconds later, a fourth face appeared. this one was female and also of stone.. This women had some form of helmet on. No markings on helmet. The helmet appeared metal and was cut as to expose her ears. The helmet exposed her ears, but covered forward of her ears as like long side burns. Twenty seconds later she vaporized. Ten seconds later a fifth face appeared. The fifth was a man. He was also made of a light bone coloured stone. All of the five faces appeared on the stage. None of the faces had any expression. There were no Halos or wings and they were not white.

Ten seconds later, in the dark bottom left hand corner of the leading cloud, a sixth face appeared. He was a dark bluish. Looked like a great warrior. He had an overabundance of thick curly hair. He looked more human than the five stone faces and for 2 seconds of the twenty that he was appearing to me, towards the end, he grinned at me. The seventh and last was a women. She appeared to the right of the warrior, 1 third across the lower portion of the leading cloud and a third of the way up in the lighter section but not as white as the stage outline. She also appeared to be made of flesh like the warrior, unlike the first five faces that had paraded before me on the stage. The seven faces were not of this era.

Below were my thoughts after reflecting on it for a few of years.
After i saw this vision, i read revelation. i had heard of the seven Angels but did not know that God had seven Spirits or two witnesses.
i started to read revelation from the beginning. When i came to God's seven Spirits, i dismissed them as a possibility because i did not think that Spirits would be displayed as stone.
i continued to read revelation. When i reached the seven Angels i once again dismissed them as an option because there were no bowls, only one was white, none had halos and i did not think that Angels would be shown as stone.
i continued to read revelation to the end. Once there i realized that the only two possibilities were the seven Angels or the seven Spirits.
It took me a long time to work this out.
These seven faces were God's seven Spirits.
This is my interpretation Only. Note, I am often wrong.
Jesus did not ask me to interpret the vision, but i thought about it every day.
The first stone face on the stage was God's Spirit of War, and female.
The other four stone faces are the Spirits of the Elements, Earth, Fire, Wind and Water. I do not know which face represents which element or in which order they were displayed to me.
The woman in the cloud was Mother Mary and the Bluish gray coloured male in the cloud was Elijah..

it is a TERRIBLE CATASTROPHE that is about to take place. A catastrophe on a magnitude never before seen in the world..and it will be only the smallest and the first of MANY to follow on its heels.

First will come the massive market collapse..VERY SHORTLY.
This will take away all luxuries and comforts leaving everyone broke and desolate..especially the rich.
