I've found many drugs make me sicker than what they are supposed to fix. Which sucks if you are sick to begin with.

Hubs just finished up a small amount of steroids for an inflammation. The side-effects were so bad, he said he would never take them again.

I took a few Avelox once (equivalent of Cipro) for an ear infection once. Within an hour of taking it, I would be out for the next 24 hours. And it gave me a migraine also, so I'm allergic to it.

No problem there.

I took that stuff years ago I believe it was for sinus infections. Now they give me Z Pac for everything.

I lot of meds are not the same. I'm not trying to be a conspiracy theorist but most of the drugs that are FDA approved are made overseas and most of the countries that make them hate Americans anyways.

I would love to go all natural like our ancestors did but it's soo unaffordable it's almost impossible!!!

Re: FDA Issues Warning on Cipro, Similar AntibioticsQuote

sorry guys. If I hadn't taken cipro I would be dead from bladder/kidney infections. If I hadn't taken levaquin I would be dead from pneumonia, leigonaires type, long ago. I'm allergic to everything else and these work on me with no side effects. Remember, we are not all descended from the same genetic stock. Maybe thats a politically incorrect fact, but true nonetheless.

True, but it seems the drugs prescribed more recently are worse than they were a few years ago in my opinion. I'm glad they helped you but just be careful.
