I always wanted to become a Para jumper. My uncle was for the Canadian Armed Forces. He was peace keeping in GW I. Something happened there because everyone in his company either killed themselves or went nuts. His brain is mush today. Very sad.

I jump over coffee table roll across floor while he shoots at me and I move faster than he can lower the rifle.
Climb up his front, as he shoots, break his finger to remove rifle from his hands.
Get pinned against a wall by city cops, each pushing a gun barrel hard into me.
Deal with asshole draft dodging cops until enough witnesses return to tell them the truth.
Cashier for self-serve gas station.
Man pumps gas, walks toward booth fumbling in pocket, like everyone else.
Pulls COLT Trooper .357 and sticks gun in my face.
"Give me key to cash box!"
I willingly pull keytainer off my belt and hear a "click" as armed robber thumbs the hammer back.
"Shoot the witness!" goes through my mind.
I throw the keytainer at his chest, turn my back, draw my tiny .22 S&W semi automatic. Turn, shove gun into his face and fire all but two rounds.
Cops shake my hand and pat me on the back and tell me he had killed his last few robbery victims.
Man shoves gun into my face. I grab, twist and break one bone in his forearm taking the gun away.
American military training made me someone criminals do not attack without losing.
US military made many thousands of us undefeatable.
Trouble is they quit teaching that to new recruits.
My war was an effort to keep the Vietnamese from choosing their own government.
Today it is to keep Iraqis from choosing their own government.
I fought as ordered. But my oath was/IS to uphold and defend the US Constitution
That oath scares the current regime ruling the USA.
They are training military to go from house to house in Iraq, getting them ready to go from house to house in the USA.
Same goal;
To prevent them choosing their own government.
