Quoting: Bush BS 380168He's saying that increasing exploration on the OCS (Offshore Continental Shelf) is needed and can produce up to 10 years oil for us. He's blaming Congress for the increase in gas prices because the wouldn't lift the prohibition on exploration. Congress' failure is "unacceptable." Ball is now Congress should allow exploration/drilling in Alaska - can produce approx. 2 decades of Saudi Arabia capacity. Time to act is now. Difficult time for American families. Every dollar spent on gas is a dollar less to put food on the table ("food on your family") or for education. He is sooooooooo full of shit. Like doing this now would make even a bit of difference in our oil prices NOW when we need it. Obama wants to keep it. McCain wants to lift it. Obama says first drop of oil won't come for 7 years and wouldn't have impact on oil market as it goes into world oil market. Already rights to drill 68 million acres oil companies not using effectively. No guarantee will produce lower gas prices. McCain calling Obama "Dr. No" for saying no to nuclear plants and offshore drilling. His argument is soooooo weak. ALL praise King Obama! He'll lead us to the "promised land" with his flowing rhetoric and his ability to bring together the American people... Boy, are you delusional, or what???? "Successful people are always looking for opportunities to help others. Unsuccessful people are always asking, 'What's in it for me?'" — Brian Tracy: Personal and business training author, speaker, and consultant "We are all, right now, living the life we choose." -- Peter McWilliams, Author "The bad news is time flies. The good news is you're the pilot." -- Michael Altshuler |

Just reporting what he said, and I agree with him on this one. Still, he's not someone I would vote for. |
