U.S. Treasury Department's plan to shore up Fannie and Freddie can add three trillion dollars budget by 2012 deficit taking dollar to half its va
Quote

It is 2012 when the Federal Reserve and the US Treasury will realize that the unthinkable Titanic has sunk and with it went more than three trillion dollars in ballooning budget deficit.

According to savvy smart money investors, Taxpayers will be saddled with debt if Congress approves U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson's request for the authority to buy unlimited stakes in and lend to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Does Paulson have a choice at this stage? He really does not have a choice. He has to keep the ship afloat and for that he can borrow from the future knowing well very few in the past Administrations are held countable in America for their failed and senseless policies.

Can Paulson’s plan really save Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac?

The answer is yes but the cost is so high that no American in sensible mind will like to hear that. Soviet Union came down with the expenses of the Afghan war – they could not fund it. America will come down with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac insolvency war – there is no money to support them. They will sink but Paulson and others who are seeing catastrophic banking cycle top in 100 years will try to save the ship as long as they with whatever they have – even selling the future of their grand children and great grand children.

I agree. How much economic hardship does the American public need to suffer before they connect the dots, figure it out, and realize that Ron Paul is their only hope?

Sound money ,as advocated by Ron Paul, is fair to everyone,
is sustainable and will remediate so much of what has gone wrong in America over the past many decades.

AND ,of course, besides the dollar devaluation that will occur from the subprime + Fannie/Freddie bailouts,we also have the $70 TRILLION DOLLAR,(and growing), unfunded liability facing us from the Social Security/Medicare/Medicaid promises which will surface as the baby boomers start to retire in greater numbers and are now on the benefit -collecting side of the equation instead of the payroll-deduction contribution side!
Do you realize the the USA GDP for one entire YEAR is only $14 trillion dollars?
THIS is the ugly little,(not so little), secret that few are willing to discuss!

Just ask the former chief accountant for the USA, David Walker. He has been trying to warn the American public about this economic disaster which will impoverish the average American in the upcoming years.

U.S. NATIONAL DEBT CLOCK

The Outstanding Public Debt as of 15 Jul 2008 at 03:29:58 PM GMT is:
$ 9 , 5 0 7 , 8 5 6 , 6 9 8 , 4 8 3 . 1 5

The estimated population of the United States is 304,360,130
so each citizen's share of this debt is $31,238.84.

The National Debt has continued to increase an average of
$1.72 billion per day since September 28, 2007!

A dollar bill is only worth 70 cents. So, if the debt were actually adjusted for inflation, I'm sure the number would be much smaller.

the dollar has been taking one sledgehammer whack after another for months and still the $ index defiantly refuses to fall below 70. DOOOOM for the dollar does not even begin until it's under 50. i say sit back in your easy chairs and watch, as the controllers steer our currency away from anything remotely resembling DOOOOOOM and KEEP it away for years.

It wont work and it wasnt planned.

US policy chose short term solutions for decades, but even then they knew they would run into trouble in the long run.

The plan was and is to push problems ahead instead of fixing them. There was no plan to collapse the dollar, its one of the side effects of the policies.

There is a economic war going on, and the sheople are on the losing side lead by politicians who only think and campaign on the here and now, and don't give a crap about the future, because by then they will not be in office but instead will be in the offices of the banks and the corporations receiving handouts from those who will benefit from their short sightedness and lack of accountability. I think that the NWO has decided that the most convenient way to take control over the US is not another war or emergency but simply a complete economic collapse.

They are doing everithing they can to crash the system.
Think for a minute. They changed plans!
