I just checked a star chart, www.heavens-above.com, and Venus does no appear in the early morning. What you are probably seeing is most likely Jupiter, which is the only planet visible in the early morning sky.
Jupiter however should be in the western part of the sky at that time, so it might just be a bright star.
It is very bright than all the other stars/planets including Jupiter and always has been, but some reports are saying it is Jupiter. Right now which looks to me to be Venus rises from the east at sunset and through out the early hours morning like around 1 am or so it is high up.
That's Jupiter, Venus sets about 45 mins after Sun at the moment, Jupiter rises just before sun sets.
