In a rare show of unity Columbian drug cartel families issued a joint statement today to the El Espectador newspaper, Bogata. The Cali, Medellín and Norte del Valle cartel`s stated that with effect from August 1st 2008, dollars will are longer be acceptable for their products.
Senior political editor Hugo Escalas said, "This is unprecedented for our country and after 30 years of journalism, it has shocked me".

Well Israel told the US they won't accept dollars when we send them aid money and they run the drug cartels, so this comes as no surprise. |

Well it looks like the value of the dollar dropping is going to cut into the paying off corruption.
It was said several years ago that pay off money was drying up ad then in the next 2 weeks the drug bust coming into the country skyrocketed. That woke up quite a number of people that didn't believe the corruption.
Just sit back and watch it's happening.
Whatever is hidden in the dark is coming to light for all to see.

If this is true, look for military action in Columbia soon. CIA/government isn't going to like this one bit.
Or maybe they will. If this drives up the price of coke on the street, you'll see more crime committed by crackheads/cokeheads, which in turn will give more reason to militarize the police.
Is this a police state tactic? The CIA has been either running the cartels and/or buying off of them for decades, they must have close ties to the cartel leaders.

To get the Colmbian to go into military action you have to have payoff monies. Read Christopher Wanta and if any of his information is 25% correct, there's no money for paying off corruption.
There might be drug problems here but it will be the fear of not finding the next fix that will drive it. FEAR is the culprit that has created this whole mess.
We will get thru it when we maintain a more positive outlook. Legalize drugs, control it much like alcohol. Prohibition didn't work for alcohol and neither has it for drugs. After 40+ years (drug war started in 1970) you would think we would learn from history. I don't do drugs, I don't like what drugs do to people or families but what we have been doing since 1970 is not working.
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results each time. I think this quaifies for insanity.

From now on all foreign aid paid by the US to other countries must be in swiss fancs or euros.
No more worthless US dollars will be accepted.
Also, US dollars for bribes and payments by lobbyists to government officials will no longer be acceptable.
Bank robbers only want whatever foreign currency is available on the premises. The US dollar isn't worth stealing.
Mafia will only accept foreign currency for assassination fees. US dollars will only buy a minimum of protection and that only for a very short time. |

Whichever political stripe anyone is, those who have been backing Imperial America [neocon/libcon] are the cause.
Go it alone. Unilateral. Who cares what the world thinks?
This opens the door towards a different currency being the dominant currency of the world.
Why did we make it so easy for that to happen? How could so many have been so shortsighted?
We are a young country. Many other countries have had their history lesson served to them quite painfully... Imperial Britain being one of the recent ones.
We can learn the lesson the easy way [learning from pas history and avoiding the mistake] or we can learn the hard way [learning the consequences irreversibly]. |
