My friend's sister had died. My friend had gotten into a discussion with the undertaker at the funeral home because something had gotten screwed up regarding her sister's funeral arrangements or something. Anyway the talk turned to DOOM and what my friend said was coming and how many were supposed to die (the usual doom scenario). The undertaker had said there was a meeting locally (and actually all over the US) where the Govt told the morticians to prepare for a LOT of dead bodies.

That is correct. Meaning, they can be used multiple times. SO the estimated number of dead may be significantly higher.

Maybe they are being stored by the company that makes them. They would get sent to whomever buys them I suppose.

this is probably a shape and size that works with other things, like railcars and loaders. I bet you can fit three or four people in one of these. They probably have a machine that pops the airtight lid and dumps the contents into the anything-into-oil machine without the need for human hands to be involved at all.

These many people need to do a little research and discover that the
units are NOT owned by FEMA. They are not on Property leased by FEMA,
they are on the property of the manufacturing company (who by the way IS
NOT POLYGUARD & Co.) that is located in Covington, GA. They are Burial
vaults used as an alternative to concrete in ground burial. If I were
betting, the manufacturing company purchased a large amount of raw goods
before they increased in price (they are oil based you know) and when
you purchase the raw goods, you have to produce it. The inventory will
turn in a reasonable time and polymer is non-biodegradable so they don't
have to worry about it getting hurt by the elements.

Wrong about being re-used. Have you ever had to bury someone? If you did, you'd know that vaults are used to protect the coffin after it is buried. The coffin is placed in the vault, and the vault is buried in the ground.

I think it's fairly logical to think that as population centers get more and more crowded, combined with the number of people dying in wars, that the government is planning ahead so that if there is a large number of bodies that have to be handled then they will have coffin liners ready so the cost is reduced.

It's inevitable without the influence of the government that a disease will happen that will kill off mass numbers of people. It's happened throughout history and science has shown how diseases are mutating to overcome immunities and vaccines. At some point we're going to have another natural disaster, meteor strike, plague, etc and the government will be stuck handling hundreds of thousands of bodies.
