Travis Walton UFO Story...DEBUNKED !!! | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 19055812 Canada 10/17/2012 07:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I believe the evidence that the aliens stem from human imagination is contained within Mr. Walton's story itself. As an example, consider if you happened upon an account by a 13th century farmer of his abduction by aliens, describing a huge flying ship with 14 masts and sails made of some hard unknown substance, and devices such as an hourglass containing a luminous fluid that automatically turned itself over at the end of each cycle. Any one of these details, like the hourglass as a chronometer, would make it obvious that this event came out of the man's imagination of what an alien encounter would be like. Quoting: David 500668 So when I read Mr. Walton's story, I came across dozens of examples of anachronistic technology or objects which would be extremely unlikely to be used by an advanced alien civilization. Some examples are hanging lights from the ceiling, a bench full of tools, surgical gowns, face masks to avoid contamination, an oxygen mask-like device for disabling a person, a shelf for placing objects, a ramp as the way to exit a space ship (they can fly across the universe, but can't invent stairs, elevators, or just a ground-level exit from a space ship that is sitting inches off the ground?). It is possible that some of these might be chalked up to coincidence, but the likelihood that they would come up with no better technology than ours for all these cases is so slim. My favourite is a chair with a lever in the arm! We already have more advanced interfaces to our computers and machines, including voice technology, gesture recognition, eye tracking, research into reading brain waves, so I'm pretty sure that an advanced alien race would have some more sophisticated way to drive the spaceship than a lever. I doubt they would even have a chair; I would think perfectly balanced blasts of air or force field would be a better thing to sit or recline on, or most likely some technology we cannot even imagine. Anyway, you may or may not agree, but every time I read about alien abductions, I look for these tell-tale signs and some of them are quite laughable. As I recall from the Betty and Barney Hill UFO story, it is mentioned that the aliens drew a blood sample to determine if she is pregnant. Funny how the aliens had exactly the same technology as was imaginable in 1964. Real aliens would most likely not need an invasive procedure to do this determination. They would certainly be advanced enough to do a urine test, but most likely they would have advanced MRI scans which could tell instantly, or more likely, something so advanced we can't imagine. Anyway, sorry for the long post, but I hope it's food for thought. - David Well thought out, made me think. |

Only 7 guys know whether the Travis Walton story is true...however,more and more stories point to the likelihood of it being true...regardless of how many people don`t like the fact. |
Yorick User ID: 12865493 Belgium 07/31/2013 11:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A UFO doesn't mean aliens in a spacecraft... It's abit wider than that. I live in Belgium near the woods and me and several people in my neighbourhood including me have seen a few UFO's. 1 was about 5 years ago when I was walking not far from my home with a friend and we saw a big orange orb that didn't move. We stopped when we saw it and when we started talking to eachother about it, it just vanished. We didn't even see it leave. There was no blast, nothing... It was like a piece that was cut out of a movie. My friend was the religious type and he claimed it was the devil trying to decieve us. I don't know what I saw and I don't think I'll ever know. There is no way of knowing if it will occur again but since then I watch the sky more closely. Another time I saw one with another friend and we were actually talking about that we didn't see any falling stars in a while and about alien movies. A while later we saw an orb that was much smaller than the first I've seen and it was moving. It went on a course east as it passed above us we couldn't hear a thing. It moved like somebody behind the wheel had been drinking. After that we heared deers in the woulds but we had never heared deers before so we where totally freaked out.I know something is out there but I don't have a clew on what it is. THe first one was the most frightning as it "seemed" to know we were aware of it... It could have been a coincidence but... Again I don't know. One thing I do know! It's annoying that you know you saw something but you can't explaine it. My mind keeps looking for anwsers! My father is into ufo books like von daniken and sitchin. I like some of there thoughts but I don't really believe it untill there is conclusive evidence to support it. I do think it's interesting that all over the world there are these ancient pyramids, perfectly build. It seems unlikely humans build it alone unless the story of atlantis is more than a story. ALso... Why are our races so different. I mean if we evolved to adapt than why do darker colored people live in the warmer places. You should check out how many ancients talk about the great flood. In norse mythologie you could even possible derive that they knew about pangea. And how could the ancients know so much about our solarsystem?? You should see how accurate some tempels are build. The zodiac is pretty old 2. It's all very intriguing... My appolagies if my english isn't good, it's not my native language. I just hope people would start to rise there knowledge on an ethical level. Imagine our brains united and striving for all humanity. This planet has alot of potential I just hope it doesn't go to waste because of being caught up in our own egos. Greets! |
Yorick User ID: 12865493 Belgium 07/31/2013 11:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I mean TV, radio, PC... They don't even need to do an abduction. They even know some of the possible ways of how we think about aliens. Have you ever seen they live or k-pax? |

It was passed twelve at night, we had just seen the object and we ran for 5 minutes. LOL! Later we were told that they started a project of releasing deer in the forest as they were once native to the forest. The deer was so loud my friend jumped higher than usual. For a moment we thought it was some alien caught in a poachertrap calling for the mothership! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 42461134 United States 08/01/2013 12:34 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There's a guy that's been running around the internet saying his "Uncle" told him the real story. lol Turns out his "Uncle" is pissed at Walton for some dumb reason and the guy posting all this stuff has no personal experience what-so-ever with the Walton Experience. I won't go to IMDB, for reasons other's have said about the lack of intelligence there, but the "Fire in the Sky" movie has little to do with Walton's actual experience except the basics. Travis has spoke about this numerous times through-out the years. Hollywood wanted to make it more exciting than it was. He's the real deal and there's several who've investigated his claims, whose main objective is to find fraud. They've made it clear there is nothing fraudulent that they can find. Enuff said. |

Man, some people will believe anything... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 470859 This is not true ? The 911 attacks were not committed by some hadjis who could barely fly simulators? |

You ought to hear yourselves with all your imaginary theories, your all a bunch of lunatics. |
