Quoting: SilverBulletWhy don't you get a grip on yourself and just use the 25 cent dispenser at some store that sells bottled water? There's no fluoride in bottled water except the evil water marketed for babies, you're probly reacting to the petrochemicals leached out of the plastic, which won't happen if you buy the kind in hard plastic or clear plastic, or fill your own jug daily. Home Depot etc sell home filtration units too. I don't care what the experts say, charcoal filters taste best but you can't get them anymore. |

Quoting: SilverBulletI never heard that it makes the fluorine more potent. I've distilled(boiling with a condensing tube)many times before and never saw that. Are you catching the condensation,or simply boil and drink? You have to separate the matter, boil it and catch the STEAM, that is the proper way. Nothing goes over except pure water, the contaminates are left in the bottom of the vessel used to boil. |

The latter 2 are in glass bottles which is even better. All are prety pure with minerals as nature intended. All are from volcanic areas and none have pesticides etc, Good luck. If you drink tap water you are imbibing birth control pills and everything else folks flush down the toilet along with pesticides! It is a Gumbo to say the least and to my mind the reason there are so many breast, prostate cancers, and lymphomas around. Guys are estrogenised, indeed the sperm count is down 50% FROM WHAT IT USED TO BE! A HORRIBLE MESS INDEED AND CERTAINLY NOT WHAT GOD INTENDED! |

And since boiling water makes the fluoride more potent? Is there a purifier that really takes out the stuff added to water that makes it so detrimental to me? Quoting: SilverBullet1. I doubt that water is making you sick - if it really was, then you would have investigators all up and over your house, poking and prodding and if anything is suspect about your tap water your whole town would hear about it. 2. The amount of fluoride used in tap water is so small as to not really matter, compared to other things you do with lots of toxins in them... ya know, like breathe. There are areas in the world where fluoride is naturally occurring, in fact there are some places where special filtration has to be used to reduce the amount of fluoride since it lead to people coming down with fluorosis. Think of fluoride like oxygen - a low to moderate dose of either is good for ya - a higher dose can kill ya. Yes oxygen at higher doses will kill you. There are other substances which taken in small quantities are beneficial, but in larger quantities can harm you like Iron, copper, several vitamines, lots of minerals. Which brings me to number 3. The minerals in water are not the type of minerals you pick up from food. Food is the key source from where most of your minerals and vitamins should come from. A suppliment pill (like the one a day variety) is used WITH a proper diet, to jep you maintain healthy levels of all of your nutrients that frankly no one can eat enough of the right foods in one day to get all of the daily recommended amounts on everything. If you are having mineral issues (nutritional minerals) then this is due to either poor diet or your body is not able to take up those minerals - it has nothing to do with drinking distilled water. Water in the First World nations that comes out of the tap is cleaner and purer than water you get anywhere else - yes even with the addition of fluoride, chlorine and all off those other interesting chemicals in such huge ('m being sarcastic there) amounts. Boiling water does not make fluoride more potent - unless you are boiling off a lot of water in the process leaving behind the salts that contain fluoride bound with them. that would mean that you would have to reduce the amount of liquid to a tenth via boiling to get levels of fluoride anywhere near the point where it could lead to fluorosis. that means for every ten cups of water you boil all of that down to one cup. I seriously doubt you are doing that. I have no idea why you were hospitalized, but I seriously doubt it has anything to do with your water. If it did, then your doctor would order you to get a filtration system - there are many on the market - from the Britta filter jug to whole house systems which filter all of the water coming into the house. Your simple Brita just filter (pour the water through into the catch container you pour from into your glass) removes 99.9% of all of the contaminates from chlorine to hard minerals to fluoride as in fluorinated water. For a list of products: [link to ask.pronto.com] Bottled water, is tap (city) water that is ran through an industrial filter (much like the pitcher filter we just discussed). There is nothing special to it. Except that you pay an arm and a leg which for stupid American's who get perfectly good water from any city tap seems to be something they love to do. I've been using them for over a year now and they make the most loveliest sweetest water and they get rid of or at least neutralise any impurities (including chlorine and fluoride). In a nutshell, they bring the water back to life, as opposed to the dead water we are expected to drink from taps and bottles. Here's where I got mine from:- [link to life-enthusiast.com] |

Quoting: SilverBulletEverytime I drink this water I get double over with severe stomach pains and I'm dragged to the hospital. They wanted to take my appendix )sp?) out "just because" I drink bottled water but lately it's had a horrible taste. There's a connection to the appendix and lack of pooing, Silverbullet ... save your appendix if you can. Visit a health food store and find some answers. They are there! Water of any kind used to make me sick, too - - slowly introduce one you like at intervals of 2-4 ounces at a time, increasing as tolerated. It will get better. There are some good waters on the market - - you just have to find them. Ask the Lord to guide you for your answers - - He has promised to help all that call on Him! I am a witness to His faithfulness! Blessings upon you! |

That's what we do. Works great over here. Maybe you are rich though and can afford spending hundreds of thousands of bucks on some paranoid hippie water rig with uber reverse osmosis and ozone and orgone injectors and shit... $8 for a three month (family of 4) supply of ionic trace minerals $26 start-up pur filter set with mount and one filter (average filter good for 40-70 days) $8-$16 for replacement filters You do the math. |

ac User ID: 442411 United States 07/22/2008 04:33 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You can improve your hydration by eating naturally juicy foods raw, such as melons, cucumbers, tomatoes, plums, etc. These provide essentially distilled water plus vitamins, minerals, and the proper amount of fiber to hold it in your system so it can be absorbed. If you eat mainly acidic foods (proteins, cooked foods, salty foods) you draw fluid out of the body. Hydrated vs even slightly dehydrated is a world of difference. Re direct water, been drinking distilled for about 20 years with no problems. Do get LOTS of water tho in foods and raw veg juices. |

Tash User ID: 726021 United Kingdom 07/15/2009 07:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | i know how you feel, and iv scrolled through all the answers here and most of them seem to be useless (not all)mine probably will be useless too but i hope i find an answer, yer, tap water makes me ill too, the tap water where i grew up in carlisle was alright and when i go back there i can drink it, but here in the northeast (ashington) i can't stand it, we shouldnt be drinking chlorine or chloride or whatever it should be illegal, and THEY PUT FLOURIDE IN TAP WATER TOO! i found that out and i thought it was vile, flouride gives you brain damage, if you search it fully i found this horrible scientific article saying the government only put it into our tap water and toothpastes in the first place BECAUSE IT IS AN INDISPOSABLE CHEMICAL, its not legal to dispose it because its so dangerous so factories with mass quantities of it had to quickly come up with somethign it can be used for. if you browse for 15 minuites on the internet you might find that apparantly it stops tooth decay.. (the only reason we are allowed to consume it) but if you search for 40 minuites you can find all these articles everywhere saying there was never a real proof it stopped tooth decay or had anyhthing beneficial whatsoever, infact it GIVES you tooth problems, i have flourosis on my teeth all over them and its horrible. flouride is BAD STUFF. and the government has really fucked up britains water, i don't know much about chlorine/chloride, only that its bad and it kills everything, all germs, but what about the good bacteria etc? what if when your drinkign it its killing all these cells and everything in your body? i know i sseem abit paranoid i am, but i think its so stupid that the very thing we evolved in, the very thing that keeps us alive, like 80 percent of the earth or something, we have no idea about!! i came on here because i keep getting dehydrated even though im drinking loads and the water is killing my bowels (what if chlorine in the water is the cause for IBS?) anyway, and its like my body wants to get rid of it straight away and i become dehydrated again, its horrible, iv drank loads and iv got thrush and headaches and aches and feel sick and ARGHHHHH dehydration, full blown is a really horrible feeling and you know what? milk quenches my thirst better than water, il drink loads of water and be dehydrated then i drink milk and the pains go away, i used to just live off mil and the odd glass of water but i don't do that anymore. why am i still talking? i don't know sorry theres just nothing we can do and its annoying we're being poisoned, there must be an alternative ANYWAY, FINALLY ill tell you one tiny thing that could help you ... i THINK.. and it says on the bottle but unless its lying ........VITTEL water is the ONLY BOTTLED water out there that doesn't contain chloride/flouride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and you know what? you can really tell when you drink a whole one of those big bottles, its the only water i like now, iv found it! so please buy lots of vittel water and don't let the company close down or something!!!!!! im going to post this somewhere else now lol (also another tip.. those brita water filters are useless, they put more chemicals into the water to filter out the other ones and its not what you need, im going to get one of those condenser things eventually, hope iv helped |
parsleysprigs User ID: 753140 United States 08/21/2009 01:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've heard no decent answer here. But yes I've heard that the FDA regulations are very limited when It comes to bottled water. And I've found no decent water filters I'm going to try distilled water. I recently read an attorneys blog about bottled water and organic food saying It's all legal marketing by company's with really good lawyers. If you read the label carefully you can see the clever use of words such as pure rocky mountain water the water doesn't need to be 100% pure water it just has to be what the label says. Every drop of water in the bottle is from the rocky mountains. Budweisers cans say all natural brewing process and we all very well know that Budweiser probably wouldn't know natural if it bit them in the ass. Simply the process of brewing is natural to begin with, they don't need to use natural ingredients to put that on the label. |
