Good Morning to all the Weekend Warriors, and Internet Browsers who come out on the end of the week! Here is a video that I think is the most precious, sweet thing I've seen in a very long time! It doesn't get any cuter than this one! I know how they feel too, playing in sprinklers is addictive even for adults! Love it!!!
An interesting link to some of the world's more recent Ghost Towns, to ponder over your coffee, or tea, which ever it be! Mine by the way, is French Roast, ole fashioned way (with milk, and sugar) felt like it that way this morning!

Now don't get your feathers all in a Ruffle Christians, it's all in fun!! Remember?? Joyful!!!

Time to wind down, the neighbors aren't up mowing their dead lawns YET, so time for the cook to sleep some! A little of one of my favorite singer/composers Jackson Browne........reflection time......
Standing in the ocean with the sun burning low in the west
Like a fire in the cavernous darkness at the heart of the beast
With my beliefs and possessions, stopped at the frontier in my chest
At the edge of my country, my back to the sea, looking east
Where the search for the truth is conducted with a wink and a nod
And where power and position are equated with the grace of God
These times are famine for the soul while for the senses it's a feast
From the edge of my country, as far as you see, looking east
Hunger in the midnight, hunger at the stroke of noon
Hunger in the mansion, hunger in the rented room
Hunger on the TV, hunger on the printed page
And there's a God-sized hunger underneath the laughing and the rage
In the absence of light
And the deepening night
Where I wait for the sun
Looking east
How long have I left my mind to the powers that be?
How long will it take to find the higher power moving in me?
Power in the insect
Power in the sea
Power in the snow falling silently
Power in the blossom
Power in the stone
Power in the song being sung alone
Power in the wheatfield
Power in the rain
Power in the sunlight and the hurricane
Power in the silence
Power in the flame
Power in the sound of the lover's name
The power of the sunrise and the power of a prayer released
On the edge of my country, I pray for the ones with the least
Hunger in the midnight, hunger at the stroke of noon
Hunger in the banquet, hunger in the bride and groom
Hunger on the TV, hunger on the printed page
And there's a God-sized hunger underneath the questions of the age
And an absence of light
In the deepening night
Where I wait for the sun
Looking east
Have a Great Weekend Folks!!!
Blessings on you! River!!!

Back to the Columbian. Light City / West Coast roast. Some sorghum. Got a greenhouse to put up today.
Time to order up some more bean.
Hmmmmm....a greenhouse, now interest is peeked! Mama Horticulturist just woke up, ears up!! The audience is listening???

Putting up a PVC arch. Had a shed that bluerusted away, finally. Left a fairly solid 10 by 10 cedar timber foundation. Probably have enough poly-sumptin-er-other sheeting to cover. Look forward to fresh greens this fall.
( Ugh. . . . . Coffee was terrible this morning. Guess I don’t like the lighter roasts so much. Bay Roast all the way baby !! )
Where's the cream cheese ?

No bagels unfortunately. Not even second rate English muffins / crumpets around these parts. Stuck with crackers. Pimentos maybe. Current cranberry if I had the bagel.

Good morning Bean! I like crackers of many different kinds, and enjoy different spreads on them. I'm on a seafood diet, namely "I see food and I eat it"! Ha!
Connoisseur's tickle me actually, as any Chef can tell you, you can get SOMEONE to say they like the dish with the right atmosphere, presentation, and snobbery! I myself like whole foods, prepared in the slow cook method, or sauteed rapidly to seal in the flavors.
As far as current cranberry goes I love the sweet tangy flavor of both combined.
Just make my bagel fresh, hot, with real butter, and slathered with the jam generously!
Tired today, have a happy Sunday! I'll post a couple of songs if I find anything I like this morning! Enjoy your day!
River!! Rambling off for another cup of Java, and some music to relax by.....................................

It's a Clannad kinda day, Chocolat too, love anything by Johnny Depp!! Slow Celtic moody day, think I'll load the DVD with a movie and Irish lullabies!
Headed to the store for Chocolates, can't watch this movie without my chocolate covered raisins, Hot Chocolate Cocoa, marshmallow's, and a Kleenex or two! Love this movie many times over! Snuggle on the couch time!!!
