Wow! That was very beautiful, I have not heard him before, and I love to have introductions to new music. Guess I've got research to do, lovely! The video left me kinda homesick for sitting by the ocean, wandering the shores searching for treasures. Guess I'm in a kinda moody mood myself, yet happy too! Hugs to ya for this one!

Well, Vermont is my home state,
but I spent twenty years in Kona, on the Big Island in Hawaii,
long enough to have formed some strong bonds.
Came back here when my folks got sick,
and when they passed away, I bought a house
and settled here.
Every once in a while, I start missing the mangoes,
papayas, wild ginger, and of course the buds.
And, of course, the magic which is Hawaii.
It's not the same.
too much development,
too much traffic.
The Hawaii I knew back in the seventies and eighties is gone forever,
but I was lucky to have been there when I was.

James Taylor Carolina in my Mind
Quoting: Ikaika
Ah Sweet Baby James, takes me way back to a young girl, singing sweet baby james riding her bike down a country road! Carolina wasn't my choice, but it's been a long time since I moved here in '97, and finally I've grown to love the Carolina blue skies, and the weather here is mostly nice too! I still get homesick for bayous, and rivers, but I've grown to love where I'm planted, at least till I get replanted again, which God has a way of doing with me!
Thanks for this!

I sure do understand that, I was in a few states (yeah God has moved me here and there), and some of those places are like home to me, and I miss them sometimes, when something sparks it just right! My best girlfriend ever, settled on the big island, Yun says it's beautiful, more tourists these days, but she still loves it! Thanks for sharing with me!

I can listen to ukulele music anytime, to me it is like lute music, beautiful sounds the instrument makes. Always makes me want a hammock in the breeze for some reason, lazy I guess! Smile!
Somewhere over the rainbow this version is a favorite of mine, have listened to it many times!
