I remember seeing that interview on 20/20, and in particular, the specific part you're refering to....... I believed at the time, he was speaking of God, but the more I look at his life, the more I realize he only really found God around 1979. I like to believe he's still "saved" and with the Light. Creepy indeed, he also explicitly states that his songs were not about peace and love, he just "did some magic" and they came to him.
He's so detached from the music it's like it had no meaning for him at all...just like he was a vessel and that's what came out. |

I remember that interview well. I knew at the time I had just heard him admit he sold his soul. Kind of surreal. He makes no bones about it. Wonder why they bleeped it out? Anybody wonder about that????
Has anyone read his book. I do know he claims to be born again. Can one redeem themselves after selling their soul? He did live a life of fame and fortune. Kind of seems that he doesn't really like it, huh? |

Have had a special place in my heart for this lad for some time. Don't know why exactly. His music is great but that's not it.
I pray for him. Even made a nice donation to The Jerusalem Post's "Forget Me Not Fund" and a couple of other charities in Israel,.in honor of him.

That's you putting words in my mouth...What does Bob Dylan selling his soul have to do with you suffering...it really is as simple as it sounds...
There is an evil force that works through it's minions to lead people away from God and over to darkness, and Bob Dylan seems to elude to working for this force in this interview...
It's really that simple.
If you have enough of a mind for it, if you are smart enough, just watch that video and hold it in your mind that the whole God vs. Satan thing is 100% true.
You don't have to really believe it, just suspend your disbelief for a minute and give it an honest try, and you will see it clearly.
It's not about suffering, it's about you being duped, and it's about being humble enough to realize it and see the truth.
What does this have to do with suffering?
Would it make you suffer if you found out that Bob Dylan was just a pawn that doesn't even give a shit about you or even his own music?
If it's that important to you then you have some issues I think...Just listen to what the man says himself!
He says his music came to him through magic, and he just wanted to be famous so he "made a deal with someone" to have the power to move people through music...
Is it really that hard to comprehend?
