It's time for that motion to successfully become Impeachment Hearings. |

"If a man could understand all the horror of the lives of ordinary people who are turning round in a circle of insignificant interests and insignificant aims, if he could understand what they are losing, he would understand that there can be only one thing that is serious for him—to escape from the general law, to be free. What can be serious for a man in prison who is condemned to death? Only one thing: How to save himself, how to escape: nothing else is serious-Gurdjieff |

So you're telling me that you believe in the principle "guilty by association?" If Bush declares your friend a terrorist, then we should come kill you right? That goes against everything America has stood for since its inception. The United States of America was founded on the ideals of Justice and Freedom - not government officials having the right to imprison and torture any individual who they declare to be their enemy, and without any evidence or fair trial none-the-less. That's gross oppression, and the exact opposite of benevolence. If an individual is guilty, they may be proven to be as such through the the court of law, and determined to be as such by a jury.
simple ..in times of war all countries enact strong laws for survival.and used to torture and then, hang spies ..imeadiately after interogations.................Islamist still do it ,but they cut off body parts gradually then final beheading results...............................ah for just simple water boarding... ... What a disgusting argument you provide. Absolute dictatorship, oppression, no justice, no freedom - you say that the doing away of everything this country was founded on, is okay because we're at war? No, the Constitution is the highest law of the land, and the principles of this nation far outweigh your insane, idiotic and horrid methods, Stalin. If Bush feels that I or any other American citizen is a terrorist he must obey the Constitution and the principles of America, and prove it in court, allow fair trial, allow a jury to decide. Nothing else is acceptable, and if you call for anything which is in absolute violation of the Constitution and what America has always stood for, you are a traitor. You are disloyal to your countrymen and its founding purpose. You are a traitor to your family, your neighbors, your countrymen, freedom, justice, decency and the nation itself. You would be standing in direct opposition to the principles of the United States. Direct opposition to what we stand for.
You don't just call someone a terrorist or a spy and kill them. You prove it. If you think Bush should be able to decide who lives and who dies, and not even have to prove his reasons, then you can eat shit and die, traitor. AIM:kits56fa2 |

Something doesn't smell right here. The US Supreme Court trumps the appeals courts. And the US Supreme Court affirmed the right of the detainees at Gitmo to have at least a court review. Now someone's trying to claim that an appeals court, after the fact, has ruled that alleged 'enemy combatants' who are US citizens, taken into custody on US soil, are to receive less judicial review than those at Gitmo? I call BS. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 394778

As citizens we are to stand up to tyranny and do not deserve freedom if we fail in this noble endeavor.
Tyranny surrounds us and is even occurring in many other countries. The weapons our taxdollars have paid for will be used against us and have been. This is treason imho
The changes in law are evident to the educated and they portray an Orwellian society with a camera in every room, chipped or tattooed people-with medication fed to all except a few select elitists who run the show-

The courts have been summarily stripping citizens of their rights and denying them due process for more than 15 years that I know of...how do I know? I was married to a mobster and knew too much...it is a very simple thing to accuse someone of being incompetent, put them under a guardianship and either in house or institutional arrest - there is no attorney that will challenge any of this - so "due process", even if you have an attorney is non-existent...soon, mental illness screening will become MANDATORY and if you don't meet "THEIR" standards of mental "health, then you will be summarily drugged and dealt with accordingly....can you say CATHOLICISM? |
