; UK: unusual plane traffic
Ok, where I live in the UK I'm not under any flight paths of major airports; it's usually pretty quiet here, especially night time.

Tonight, within the last 2 hours I've heard 3 planes, they sound really high and deep/growly ... not like ordinary *passenger* planes at all. (if that makes sense?)

I can't tell which direction they are flying ... but to hear them over this area is disquieting enough.

Anyone else experiencing unusual plane traffic?

The chemmies have been busy the last couple of days, and during that period I have also noticed that the fighter jets have been pretty busy.

I live in East london, and you'll hear police helis 24/7. Though more often in the night, and it's bloody annoying.

chemmies?

don't know about them (?) .... but fighter jets, YES! we've had them flying over here the last 2 weeks; really low flying too, in pairs, and THAT'S really unusual too, because we almost never get any kind of jet traffic.

I notice that where I live too, from time to time, which is nowhere as highly trafficked as where you live, but there is a international airport 3 miles away.

It only happens when the barometric pressure is particularly high (30's) - which generally means the cloud layer is low and dense, but not necessarily raining.

IMO it's just reverberation effects in the vicinity of the aircraft while it is in elevation thrust.

Yes, I am also a pilot.

I know where Mona is! Duh ... I know where ALL the airports and RAF stations are; I fucking LIVE here.

The point is; this is HIGHLY unusual traffic; I've lived here, in this house for 10 years and NEVER heard planes like this, flying over, especially at night; 3 within 2 hours is unheard of and unprecedented, as is the fighter jets flying over.

The point being that military aircraft can fly anytime, depending on the mission requirements and with permission from the MoD. Stop panicking!!

It could be two things, preparation for war against Iran, or a new rendition route.

Then again the disinfo shills are out tonight...

You'll need to do some reporters researching ask neighbors.

Who's panicking?

I'm putting the information out there and asking if anyone else is experiencing it!

... and as far as I know, I don't need fucking permission off you!

by the way; *being a pilot* doesn't impress me, it's a symptom of small dick syndrome.

You're a pilot with a small package? No wonder you're so testy!! You really shouldn't panic though, makes you look like a woo-woo--regardless if you ask anyone's permission or not...

I saw a comercial jet in the wrong place yesterday in VA. It was low & slow like comming in to land but the nearest airport 160 miles in the direction it was headed.

Maybe just a test flight......like the one that flew into the side of a mountain a few years ago.

When I saw a Boeing AWACS flying very low coming in "the wrong way" over Redbridge in East London in 1999, I knew something was up. And lo and behold a month later they strted the NATO bombing of Serbia.

If the Brits are involved in any attack on Iran, the Iranians are toast. The only way the Iranians can delay or prevent a good drubbing will be to "muddy the waters" and strike out at Israel, or stir up attacks on Jews worldwide. This is Ahmanidejad's (he is a reincarnation of Haman) true function!
