Yes, feminine principle seems to fit especially in the context of Liber HHH giving "watery reflections of three enthusiasm" of IAO formula.

In the short introduction to that liber Crowley wrote that "the whole star [hexagram] is Nechesh and Messiah, the name AHIH joined with YHVH."

Students from the Spring 2010 "Integrative Leadership: From Theory to Practice" course, taught by Professors Jay Kiedrowski and Paul Vaaler, will post their reflections on integrative leadership throughout the course of the semester on the Time to Lead blog.

As a dual-degree student, I have invested two years of my life so far learning about two different sectors: public policy and business. I recognized that addressing complex modern problems requires the collaboration of many types of actors. This recognition is the foundation for the field of integrative leadership, whether it's within one organization or across sectors. However, the key to sustained collaboration is effective communication. More specifically, language plays a critical role in such a task. Even when we use the same words, different sectors have distinct ways of viewing their work and the context in which they operate and failing to recognize this can hinder effective integrative leadership.

I see this everyday as I navigate between the Humphrey Institute and the Carlson School. I've been working on a consulting project for a large non-profit organization with some of my fellow MBA students on the emergency food distribution network in the Twin Cities. This network is complex, suffers from a legacy of unfriendly competition between some actors and is fraught with sensitive political issues. As we began to conduct interviews, some of the MBA students had a hard time understanding why "efficiency" could set off alarm bells to a non-profit organization. I understood their perspective and tried to explain that despite what we've learned in our classes at Carlson, efficiency is not always equated with effectiveness; in some cases, the two are seen as opposing ideas.

Too often, we operate in silos - at work and in our own social networks - that we forget how much meaning and context is wrapped up in what we say. We've certainly heard how important it is to be aware of nonverbal communication in working with different cultures. Each sector has its own culture and way of expressing its own values - missing this point serves to limit what we can learn from each other.
