Im in christchurch new zealand ....and fighting the local council to stop this damned noise

The pauses etc could well be the cleaners moving over the bridge parts of the deeper gutters ....they have to walk the hose beside the truck , rather than simply drive the sweeping brush/sucker along the shallow gutters

we have both types here , and the two actions create 2 distinct sounds .... argh
