ok - this is the twlight zone people. i just purchased this house, built in 1955. i hear the faint hum sound in middle of night, early morning. turns on for few minutes then off. will be off for several hours and return. don't hear it during day and its in my bdrm, back of house. thought maybe a sump pump but don't see any evidence of that. or what the blip? i have no idea. electric bill is pretty norm for usage. i'm with you wtf - i have no clue. have to get brave and crawl under house for peace of mind i guess.

I still hear the humm, but for some unknown reason it goes away for periods of time only to return again. Interesting to see so many people from around the globe experiencing this.

I think you are experiencing the change in the schumann resonance. Its been awhile since I studied this , but I predicted that we would soon be able to hear them. Research "schumann resonance" . Let me know if you agree.

I have been aware of this since 1998, and as an active intuitive, the hum and electronic intrusiveness were reaching the point I could barely concentrate

At the time I was living in Connecticut, not too far from the route 95 corridor. It was a little better up by Danbury and the areas closer to Sharon

However, at the time, when I asked where I could go to minimize what amounted to a form of electronic spiritual/mental sabotage, I was told Nova Scotia.

I had never been there in my life, but within 2 years I had sold our house, and moved into rural NS Canada

I know that sounds like an extreme action, but I take my inner life extremely seriously...and I also know from years of research that the ELF research and experiments are real...

For what it's worth, I recently had to spend over 6 month in Dallas TX, and by the end, I could barely sleep 3 hours a day. The hum and other distracting sensations seemed to accumulate. It left me feeling depressed and unable to concentrate. I don't know if other residents of metro D experience what I did..I could very well be overly sensitive to the electronic jamming after spending so many years away from it.

I am now back in my less traveled corner Canada, and I haven't heard the hum since returning. Perhaps it's because this area is basically an island surrounded by some of the most powerful tides on the planet? (I have no idea...can any other island or boat dwellers share their experiences?)

However, I can say that in place of the heart palpitations, inability to sleep/concentrate and awareness of that irritating hum, I'm experiencing a tremendous feeling of peace, daily gratitude for the abundance of the earth and spontaneous moments of true bliss. The change for me is night to day, which surprises me as I didn't change any daily habits.

Regarding my present location, I received my information directly from the teacher who gifted me with Shaktipat, however, one of my friends who is an editor for Shamballah Press, told me that shortly after I moved here the Shamballah tradition of Tibetan buddhists relocated to Cape Breton in July of 2001. Odd timing I thought.

All I could find to explain the unusual move were a few mentions like this:

Reality/logical/physical possibilities:

sensitivity to earth movements (tectonic plates, earthquakes, ELF), HAARP experiments in area, resonance experiments in area, devices nearby vibrating, tinnitus, psychological or neurological malfunction

Metaphysical possibilities:

multidimensional entities attempting communication, approach of spiritual entities without completion, psychic warfare (human or alien or dimensional)

See those planes spraying the white lines above you? That stuff they are spraying is mostly nanoparticles of aluminum barium and other metals. It "ionises" the air. After about 24 to 30 hours that shit has fallen to ground level. The ionized air with the metal particles makes some us "hear" the huummm or whine inside our heads as we react to the electronic "smog" that is around us all the time these days.

Remember 15 years ago when cell phones weighted 5 pounds? Now most don't weigh 5 ounces. What changed to allow them to get so small? Their power level didn't but the conductivity of the air sure did.

In Southern IL. After midnight last year, I heard the described hum as well. I got in my car and started driving around to see if I could figure out what it was. Never found it. Comes and goes for me.

mayebe it's the pineal gland that kicks in, i have felt vibration in my brain and a low frequency sound. psychic stuff.

For myself, I'm far enough inland that it wouldn't be part of what I am experiencing. I'm in the midst of the Willamette Valley, though, and we are saturated with cell phone towers. Not to mention, of course, everything is computerized anymore ... you name it, and it most likely has a computer component. :(

So glad I found this forum!We are on the coast of Northern CA and we have been hearing this for about a year now. Real loud humming outside at night and we can't find the source. It stops around 6am.Very annoying and sleep disturbing. Glad we aren't the only ones hearing this disturbance!
