The whining metallic sound is really intense today here.

88KW's of power ..a vacuum cleaner on the back of a truck ...driven by auxillary 4.1ltr turbo charged deisel motor .......

The noise is tonal , and lower frequency ....there's 2 parts to the noise ....1 is a whine from airflow ......the other a low drone that seems to pulse ....possibly originating in the hydralics ..

You hear it way more at night , and when inside the house ...

Listen for it powering up or down , they should stop for smoko ....or maybe Christmas or NY's you wont hear it cause they are on holiday ..

We just had a massive earthquake in CHCH and the first 4 nights after were absolute bliss ...sweepers were not working ..

Here in Christchurch , at night , the whine and hum drive me insane ...with the source of the strange noise being upto several miles from home ...

The trucks are not allowed to work nights , but they still do , and I'm going to stop them ......

I am glad to see others are feeling it too!!! Except Last night I got to see why, it was right next to me and did see it, felt it vibrating like heavy equipment rolling by and humming and sound of some strange engine thump thump thump steadily for hours...

The vibration humming noise is so strong this morning. It is set to a vibrational frequency that produces anxiety/insomnia. I find myself needing to do deep breathing to counteract the negative tension it produces.

What a devious weapon of mass disharmony. People you are under attack whether you know it or not.

I've been hearing this strongly in Detroit for some time now.


Went on vacation up near Charlevoix, and heard it there, too.


Diesel engine idling, best way I can describe it.



It may be some nefarious plot to keep us all on edge, limit our sleep, and cause any of a number of weird lashings out in public.



Years ago, an industry friend was researching line conditioning...filtering out unwanted AC noise from various sources from industrial to hospital to simple back-feed from the residential refrigerator compressor. He had someone mention, in a casual but serious way, that he could not market one of the new 'features' of his device...but confirmed, without directly saying so, that my guy had stumbled upon one of the darkest of shadow operations.


I have casually researched the resonant qualities of the human perceptual system, and have concluded that every sense has an electromagnetic component...from the blatant five to (according to some) the most esoteric 16th. Yes, apparently some have decided to view the octave response of our sixth sense as distinct senses.

I have also tracked some deep information regarding Nikola Tesla's life and work, and realize why he has been largely written out of official history.

When I was studying BOTH here on the internet a few years back, I kept running into Top Secret restrictions. Might be able to read the research study's intend and title...but not any of the contents due their nature...but the abstract listings were at least helpful in confirming some terminology that kept popping up in my dreams around the New Moon for a few months back in 2006 and 7!




So...good to find a thread on this, even if it is an old one.

The humming is real...and is trying to keep us all off sync from the natural rhythms of our Mother and the spiritual rhythms of our Father. Do with that as you may, but there is more than what meets the eye in our existence.


I need to get away from the electrical grid for a while. See what happens with this hum then, perhaps that will yield a clue or two. At least I'll get away for a moment!

I've been awakened nearly every morning very early...roughly three or three-thirty...and this harsh harmonic humming is very prevalent then.


There are at least two frequencies, which diminish whenever ANY other sound is perceived...as if whatever actually hits the eardrums trumps what is being perceived by whatever mechanism in the resonant human 'machine' is picking this up.



Coupled with the standard Schumann resonance, these can make a chord. There was a study years ago, reported on NPR, where a fellow was studying the effects on humans from enharmonic (and usually inadvertent) collections of tones in the average workplace.

He measured the noises emitted by the AC system, computers and fans, and even the ringing of the telephones! He came up with some solid evidences of anxieties and worse being induced in workers in really bad environments.



I believe a mechanism similar to this is employed here. Anyone else notice all those large electrical system boxes installed in every neighborhood now? Those are all largely AT&T installations, and at least around Detroit...they all have POWER METERS. I guess it is time to take a few readings to see their usage, heh.



I believe these frequencies are fed through the NEUTRAL leg...a vast antenna system installed in everyone's residence, with 'radiators' every six feet...per the National Electric Code.


I'll be creating a Faraday cage to sleep within, and making measurement devices which will sniff out this evil ElectroMagnetic garbage...from other experiences, I know this is nefarious.



I have no doubt...

get a piece of wire mesh and keep wrapping it around itself in one direction, repeat faraday and u should hav enuff

A very basic one would be to run wire at the intersection of every wall, floor, and ceiling in a room...connect it all...then drive a fresh ground rod deep and hook up to it. It needs to fully encapsulate the space you wish to isolate.


Faraday cages need to be grounded, from my understanding. Most of our residential ground planes are tainted due the standard corrosion...I've fixed very troubling issues with folks' hifi and video systems by simply refreshing the ground connections in their houses.


You can 'nest' multiple cages, as well. Each inner 'layer' of a boxed cage is more isolated than the previous.


A full Faraday shielding requires multiple materials and complete enclosure...but for something this basic it may not be necessary. When I lived in a loft in Detroit, I would disconnect the main feed completely...and always slept like a baby. Come to think of it, during THIS experiment I got some really tremendous lucid dreams during the New Moon cycle for four months...which taught me the complete Tesla arsenal.


You'd be surprised how easy the stuff is to make, if you have a pure heart and good intent. If not, you have to increase the energy and go into much higher frequencies, like the government has done with the Active Denial System. Silly, evil fucks. But even THAT weapon is easily defended against.

I have been mystically instructed to feed a frequency generator into a sub-cage with various healing tones, too...the most important one being the Schumann Resonance which corresponds to the natural one for your area...commonly said to be 7.83 Hz.

I KNOW this humming is nefarious...I am once again awake just east of Detroit in the wee hours.

Not long after moving here, a crew installed what they reported as a 4G 'line' along with the electrical and cable and phone lines.


I really should've questioned them fully...because 4G is supposed to be a cellular system (I thought).


But today, the intensity of the sound increased between 5:30 and now...just before 6:30.

The beat harmonic of the humming directly affects the rear and lower part of my brain...I can FEEL it throbbing, with a cyclical harmonic structure that is undeniable.


It is masked by sounds picked up by my ears, but in total silence...approached by meditation/prayer and tantric yoga breathing (essentially opening up the body fully and NOT taking in air with diaphragm motion, allowing the body to be fully still)...it is unmistakable.

Pressure in the ear canals can mask it slightly, too.


But it seems designed to be anxiety-producing...and while not immune to such things, my lifelong self-training to control my Asperger's Syndrome high-sensory-perception (easily to overload with the blatant five senses) allows me to stay one step outside this induction (as long as I'm aware of the stimulii).



I've been in the hifi industry since 1981, and know that I'm particularly sensitive to phase variations in sound...and this sound is really twisted. It is a beat harmonic directly attacking the core of my brain, makes it vibrate and tense up. Induces slight nausea, too.


Something 'other' is going on here...I can feel it.



Anyone else experiencing ANYTHING similar?! Anyone else losing sleep, or having nightmares? My roommate has woken up multiple times since that 4G installation with really bad dreams.



It might be time to pull an all-nighter or four and observe the neighborhood from upstairs. We've got a great view of at least eight houses, so I can easily see if anyone turns their lights on at odd hours.


If I didn't already know about the MK-Ultra testing of Tesla technology which affects the human perceptual system's sixth sense (and beyond)...and the testing of black boxes around the metro-Detroit area...then I would not even think twice about this humming.

I DO know how to defeat it, so that would be my next experiment. At least if they are feeding it through the electrical wires. If I have any luck, I will let y'all know.

I just heard the refrigerator compressor kick on, and the pitch of the induced tone is lower than it...so it is less than 60Hz.

Yeah, went through ALL that when I lived in a loft downtown.

Was able to isolate myself pretty well, since I was at the end of a long warehouse that had been divided into 1000-1200 square foot units...furthest from the power feed, too.


Funny thing. During that time of sleeping with NO electricity anywhere in my sleeping space...I had wonderful and very lucid dreams on each New Moon cycle which were 'teaching' me the entirety of the Tesla arsenal of inventions.

I would wake up from them with NEW words in my head which I'd never encountered before...so I'd look them up. They would ALWAYS be a continuation of the sleep-studies, but unfortunately would usually be truncated by bumping into University abstracts which couldn't be accessed because they were ALL labeled Top Secret.


I knew I was onto something, and posted my progress on a public board...www.DetroitYES.com...where at least FIVE of my threads subsequently disappeared. (conveniently AFTER the board owner agreed to use google's indexing and internal search functions, heh)

Somewhere during this time, for a while I noticed a dark blue GMC Suburban with blacked-out windows sitting in front of the Fire Department Maintenance facility across the street. I was one of the ONLY residents in this newly converted loft building, and knew all of my neighbors and was recognized by the Firepeople. I keep odd hours, and this truck was ALWAYS parked in the same spot.

It got to the point where I would go outside and wave at them...but I never approached them directly. After a few weeks, they were gone.


On exactly the fifth month's New Moon, one of my best friends died suddenly in his sleep. He was a huge presence on our board, and our social director...heading up our weekly drinking nights. He was also a constant and very recognizable poster on Fark and New Republic. His death was written up in the Detroit Free Press, because he was such an amazing fellow who touched an unbelievable number of folks at his job, in the city, and especially on-line.

About a year later, I retyped, in its entirety, one of my more controversial threads, entitled Beautiful Paraguay in the Post Apocalypse Springtime...a free-form meandering from the Bush Family Trust's purchasing of land in Paraguay to a very curious listing of maps I stumbled across from the OSS and CIA (and one interesting one from Yale University in 1952).


It disappeared, too.



Luckily, I printed hard copies of it...and may actually try the experiment here soon. Just to see what happens.



But, back to the humming...my girlfriend woke up and distracted me, so I don't know WHEN it changed...but it is now near 8:30EST and the humming sound is lower in intensity and pitch. The beat harmonic component is lessened, as well. It is now merely a smooth low pitch again...without the pulsations of the phasing with the other insistent frequency.


This had NOTHING to do with my hearing, but thanks for the suggestion. The perception of this humming is actually at the base of my skull at the back...when it is at it's most offensive to me, I can actually feel my brain stem vibrating...or something to that effect. That is the best way I can describe it.


If I hadn't heard it up in Petoskey, the week after Labor Day when everyone had gone back south...we were one of only two house on our part of the lake with anyone staying there...then I'd not really be curious about it now.


Oh, and my partner didn't have any nightmares last night. Or she couldn't remember any dreams, except for a short one when she was nodding off around midnight.



So, yeah, there is something to this. I know of a fellow with measuring devices that may be able to give me some hard data...perhaps today I'll track him down.

Ok so get this i am sorta paranoid about Aliens and after watching the forth kind i became WAY more paranoid and just tonight like 45minutes ago i was laying on the couch at 3:34-3:35A.M. and heard this random pulsating noise in my left ear like a vwoom, vwoom, vwoom, it only did it about 12-15 times then went away it kinda freaked me out then about 15 minutes later it came back vwoom,vwoom,vwoom then i got really scared i HAVE NO IDEA what this is but all i can say is im terrified to have a cigarette right now!!!

i live in Oahu,HI and there are ALOT of airplanes that fly but none have EVER sounded like that.

I have had it in my right ear for 2-3 months now.....and it's not tinnitus and

strange, It went away for a few days and then I had a bad fall backwards that jarred me and it came back.....

it had gone away completely......

it is always there, but varies in pitch and frequency, it sounds like the hearing tests in grade school......and sometimes it is so loud it's incredible.

so, has anyone figured this out? i'm as mad as hell and i can't take this noise anymore! i've been living in this area for 5 years, why all of a sudden in 2010 this... this noise!

Took a few years but figured out what I hear constantly...

The frequecny of the noise makes it travel 4-5miles , add the tonal nature of the sound and you got 2 noises that travel miles
This broken worbling hump hump hump noise , and an irratating slightly higher pitched him/whine that gives me a hell headache .....

Anyone want more info that picks this thread up via google , Im in Christchurch New Zealand ...

Given the right conditions , and sound baffles in need of repair , I expect these vehicals could be heard from 10 miles or more

I live in the heart of the UK Cheshire, and for some time now i've been hearing the loud humming noise, my wife has been hearing it too, its like a microwave oven humming but it gets so loud it gets right inside your head, I first started hearing it about 15 months ago and only at night, but its none stop day/night 24/7 what’s going on, I think the military/ scientific community know more then they're letting on...... is it the earths poles shifting? Whatever it is its getting louder & louder, and were hearing/seeing more earthquakes/ floods/disasters all over the world,

I just started to hear this noise. peircing pitch. Animals not affected.

Okay. I'm in Texas. The humming started 4 nights ago. During the morning and at night, when it's peaceful, I can hear it very clearly. My wife can't hear it and neither can my relatives. My wife wants me to seek medical attention. I heard it when I was an hour from home while staying at a relatives last night. It's not constant. It's sometimes 1-3 seconds long with a stop/start and sometimes it's as if it is struggling to hum with half second stop/starts. Sometimes when lying in bed it is 10-20 seconds constant. This is very strange and though I now realize that I'm not alone with this I'm still nervous about it. Whether it's conspiratorial or not I cannot say. I can feel the hum almost. It's sort of like hearing a bad transformer outside on the utility pole hum intermittently. Very weird.

SCHUMANN RESONANCE. Google it. It has been predicted that as time goes by this frequency would increase , eventually rising to an audible frequency that the human ear can hear.
